Why is there a distinction in the Body of Christ in regards to Grace and Holiness?
If we are the New Testament “saints” who are under grace then why do we have all these restrictions in regards to Holy living? (I'm not t alking about the make, pants,etc....)
Does our righteousness really count?

What i find funny are people who say: i go to a holiness church.
I mean is there such a thing as an 'unholy' bride?

Sorry, I just had to LOL at that because we wanna make sure folks know about us and who we are. I guess ppl just have to know what kind of church it is. LOL I remember we used to be so proud (in the right and wrong ways) to tell ppl we go to the Holiness church on top of the hill!!! ;D Ppl would look like oh okay and they would shy away sometimes from us. I guess ppl have made an image out of some things. I grew up holiness so Im not bashing anyone or their denomination.

Does our righteousness really count? Absolutely, scripture is clear on this. Even though we’re in this Dispensation of Grace, God still wants holiness from us, just like He’s always wanted it from us since the days of Adam. We’re just never able to give it to Him. We’ll get it right eventually in the end. God wants us to be like Him and holiness is that road we have to travel. Now just because man labels something holy doesn’t necessarily make it so. We gotta' know how to make the distinction between the two. I mean is there such a thing as an 'unholy' bride? I've known of a few cheating brides who never had any intentions on being faithful.

Does our righteousness really count? Firstly, what type of restrictions are you speaking of, and are you speaking of self-imposed restrictions, or those that come from a pastor or local assembly or even denomination? Secondly, grace is first and foremost the ability to live holy. Holiness involves saying "no" to some things (things of the world), and "yes" to other things (things pertaining to God).
