Just recently I have been pondering the reply " I have been saved all my life" for some with the following words attached "since the day I was born". Are these replies similiar to "once saves..always saved " ? I asked myself what is the difference between one who has been in church "all their lives" and those who realize their need for a relationship with the Living God by those who grew up in church and those who didn't attend church regularly or at all ? In all honesty if we search our hearts according to the word of God would we able to say that ? Would we still be able to continue doing those things we know are blatant sin ? The words "as such were some of you" can be found after of a list of things that were considered to be sin..in I Cor. 6; so would this be considered an area of pride, lying, deception, arrogance..or what ? Or does it mean that in our quest to be deep and spiritual that sometimes we can't see our own blind sides; because we have been the "way" for a long time ?
