We been taught wrong about everything, about heaven and hell, sinner's prayer, about the way the church is set up, about Lucifer, about Pastors, about prophecies, about communion, about baptisms, about women in ministry, tithing & offering, elective vs freewill, on and on..... The leaders today must be a bunch of losers, getting everything mixed up and messed up, we so smart, that we can do such a better job.

Let just throw everything away and dig up some stuff and call it God's.

Other can tell me to sit down and open rebuke. ... but if I give my opinion or response to an attack ..... This one moderate comes against me and accuse me of attacking people on the site . I never point anyone out and tear them down, I just give my view . If I would have response to a post like Krazeeboi (I agree with his response) in the thread Heaven and Hell.... I will get a mean long insulting PM, starting that everybody board complaining about my post and after being cut down to nothing.... the nerve leave me a number to offer me counseling for my mental condition ;D I will find someone who know he/she are a sinner, first ;D

Well you seem persistent, so I know you'll be okay... I think some of the moderators just want things to be peaceful and remain "friendly", so dont take it to heart just count it all joy and put a smile on those "faces" i.e. = ;D

But anyway, yeah we have to be careful that we dont go all in "left field " with a thing, because we can be too "smart" for our own good. We dont want to be "ever learning but never coming to the knowledge of the TRUTH". And there are SO MANY views out there about a lot of stuff now it will blow you away!! And the main thing we want to be mindful of is that Christ has set us free from bondage of sin, and through that we have a right to the tree of life!!! Thats the bottom line. We have accepted the work that Christ did on the cross, so therefore we have been bought with a price!!! We are his. We should rejoice in that.
Don't get me wrong im not saying we can't discuss things but let's just not go outside the boundaries of the true word of God.

Im going to take a wild guess and say because you were attacking a mod, and secondly sowing the wrong seed sister. Yes someone asked you how you felt, but we are always held accountable for our response. you seem to have some bitterness and anger with you because of a disagreement with someone on the board. but please sister for the sake of harmony, work that out with you and the individual.. if you still cant get it worked out then please take it to the Lord so that what you are speaking on this board doesnt spring up and defile many according to Hebrews 12:15. Also Eph 4:31 says to Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice... why? because it isnt profitable for us as children of the most high, and its fruit that is contrary to true forgiveness which we ourselves have received from God. the more you feel disrespected.. I would suggest that its a better reason to pray. Look we are all praying one for another here...(I hope) lets continue to be "as the scripture says" And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another.

Now lets get back to breaking bread and showing harmony...

This song "If Everyone In The Church" was by a choir from the early 80s, named "Trinity All Nation Choir". Now that choir sung with power.

Jas after reading your response it reminded me of that song and I thought it was very appropriate and timely too this thread.

I would like to say one thing regarding this issue and if we are really honest with ourselves we should see adjustments that need to be made on both sides.

Part of the problem with communicating in this form of media is that we do not have the advantage of hearing a persons voice inflexions, visual contact, or the ability to read body language when reading a post. This often causes us to misinterpret a person state of mind or attitude when reading a post ESPECIALLY if we have a preconceived notion or feeling regarding that person. What we will tend to do while we are reading is that we will place OUR OWN inflexions on the persons post which may or may not reflect the attitude or intent of the poster.

I myself have done this many times and I have been the victim of this many times.

Thats problem number one.

Problem number two is US as posters. We are used to speaking and conversing with people that know us on a day to day personal level. I can say such and such to my best friend in a letter and he will know that I had no intention of insulting him or hurting his feelings because he KNOWS me. Posters the majroty of us do not KNOW you in that manner. So what we must do is READ what we are posting in the light of someone else reading it and ask ourselves ( and in reality the Holy Spirit ) how does that sound??

I have found on occasion that I need to rewite or reword a post because it may come across to someone ELSE reading it as demeaning or overly agressive. I tend to be very short and very direct which leads some people to the conclusion that I am very curt which is not always the case.

We must be aware of how we read others and we must be aware of how others view us.

I agree with GDD wholeheartedly. Even in this post, I was misunderstood as I was not asking a question to AT but more or less making a comment that I usually make when people are expressing themselves.

I tend to say "Well tell us how you really feel." Those who know me will not respond and of course those who don't will take the liberty to respond in the way AT did.

No offense to any one but in light of the last few posts it just reminded me that we (ME first) need to be more aware when posting on the BB.
