Rev. Jasper Williams, Jr. Joins the Nation Of Islam
Atlanta, GA—Jasper Williams, Jr., Senior Pastor of Salem Bible Church where he has been pastor since the age of 19 will announce his joining the Nation Of Islam. The nationally known, prominent Baptist minister began serving as pastor of Salem in 1963 while a student at Morehouse College. Rev. Williams first preached at Salem on Easter Sunday in 1963. He delivered a sermon so eloquent that it touched the hearts and minds of the entire congregation.
Currently, Salem is one church in two locations with a 10,000 plus membership. His son Joseph Williams also serves as pastor of the Salem Bible Church along with his father. This past Sunday at the Westside location Rev. Jasper Williams, Jr. announced to the congregation he was joining the Nation Of Islam.
Rev. Jasper Williams, Jr. will hold a press conference this Thursday afternoon.
