Does anyone know if witchcraft can have any effect on a Christian? Like if someone tried to harm a Christian and their children using witchcraft, could it work? And if yes, how can they get free???

Psychologically, if you don't know who you are, anything can work on you. Proverbs 26:2 says “Like a fluttering bird or like a flying swallow, so a causeless or undeserved curse does not come to rest.” Foolish curses have no effect on those under the blood. God is sovereign and absolutely no one has the power to speak true curses over you. The only One that can pass any sort of judgment upon you is God, and no one else. You have to remember that. You have the protection (Romans 8:11) of the Holy Spirit who resides inside of you; so neither witchcraft, nor voodoo, nor curses…none of it has power in your life because of who you are and Whose you are. “...The Lord is your light and your salvation; whom shall you fear? The Lord is the strength of your life; of whom shall you be afraid” (Psalm 27:1)? No one and no thing. Sister, know this and walk in this. Under no circumstances do you give this foolishness power in your life.

I would however like to acknowledge that we have to stay under the blood. If you are a believer/Christian....how can you not stay under the blood? I mean how can you come off from under the blood? Its because of the blood of Jesus that we are who we are anyway right? Or were you referring to "backsliding? Like if we backslide or something your'e saying we are not under the ark of safety anymore? I was just wondering because the question was referring to "Christians"

Christians still need to crucify their flesh. Christians still need to maintain their covenant and relationship with God. You can be a christian and be at a point in your life where you are in sin. For example. A person could be a christian and be in an adulterous affair. Jesus is still their Savior but because they are operating in sin there is now and open door in their life that the enemy can work through (especially if given permission from God to do so ) Christians unfortunately tend to be very ignorant of things like witchcraft and how it operates, both systematic and mystical withcraft are real and can work in the life of the believer IF the believer removes the hedge of protection around them OR steps outside of the hedge.

I do understand what you mean by when we allow sin to have place in our lives that can open up doors to the spirit realm for the enemy to peek through and have a place to reap havoc. I guess I was just wondering if we are christians then how can we come out from under the "blood" of Jesus? Without the blood being applied then our salvation is not valid.....I'm wondering is it the terminology we use and the meanings we have put on it? But I do understand what you mean now.

Auneeqsol, you said it. Many times our concepts are biblical, but the words we use to express them aren't really accurate. I'm not picking on anyone in particular here, because we've all done it and I'm trying to fine-tune my biblical vocabulary myself.

Naw...we'll just keep the colonizers confused and running form palm tree to palm tree wondering where they misplaced their teaching notes. LOL
(Sorry, feeling cheeky this morning)
