I know that this topic probably been discussed on this board before. Yet, there are some things that need to be revisited. This was the topic of a bible and most believed that a Christian can be oppressed; but, not possessed. Because when someone gives their heart to Christ; that he lives within them. Oppression to me means being weight down..yet, possession...means having control over. Taking the scripture reference found in Mark 5 I found 3 things very interesting 1) he told them to come "out" of him and 2) the demonic spirit did not want to be sent out of the country; and the commanded Jesus by God not to torment him.
There is account in Luke 8:26-40..Matt.8:28-34 gives an interesting account as well.

While it is not the normal state for a christian, A christian can be possessed if they themselves open the door by giving the devil enough place in their lives. I personally believe this state is very rare but it is possible. IMO there are three levels in which unclean spirits operates.. Demonic Influence. Demonic oppression and demonic possession.. While possession is the absolutely worst state, oppression is not a very good place either.

I personally do not believe that a Spirit filled Christian can be posessed by a demonic spirit. Now i do believe that one can be influenced by one, and that's when they open the door to those type of spirits for them to manifest through them, which is really bad as GDD stated but as far as posession I dont believe that.
In scripture it talks about if one does not "posess" the spirit of God then he is none of his. So that means he cant be a Spirit filled christian then, if demonic spirits can come and posess him.
