I got a question.
You know the scripture that talks about the ones that have prophecied in the name of Jesus and done mighty works in his name, and Jesus said he didnt know them and he told hem to depart , being workers of iniquity.
Okay what category do these ppl fall under?
Some say these are :
-People who have not really committed themselves to God and just operating on their own ability, having a form of Godliness but denying the power
-People who once did works for God but then fell away, and then try to make it in off of old works.
-People who had the gifts and talents to do certain things, and actually went forth operating, but their heart was not established, in the Lord.
But these are just some examples ppl use.
I just wanna know did anybody have any insight on that passage of scripture to determine what category those ppl would stand in.
Let a sista know somethin,,,

The first scenario sounds like someone who wasn't saved to begin with, and I think it would fall under the "I never knew you" category.
The second scenario sounds like someone who needed to do their first works over again. They are saved, but they've lost the fire.
The third scenario sounds like this person was/is saved, but never really went on to maturity.
