I would like to know why the expression "soul tie" is always used in a negative context.
- What is your definition of a soul tie?
- What causes a soul tie to come into existence?
- Is there exemples of soul ties in the Bible?
- Were those also the negative type?
- If there is such a thing as a soul tie, what do you think it ultimately ties into?
- Is there a difference between "soul mate" and "soul tie"?
- Are soul ties predestined or accidental?
- If we believe that soul ties can and do exist, then can souls also be "untied"? How?

The reason why a soul tie is always used in a negative context is because the term itself is a negative. The term term soul tie refers to an UNGodly relationship or tie that is NOT beneficial to either party. Because the relationship ( whether it be male/female, female/female, male/male sexual or NON sexual... all soul ties are not sexual.. ) is UNGodly there is not positive connotation.
Godly ties are called Covenants. Covenants are always to the benefit of BOTH parties involved.
People often times mistakenbly believe that there are good soul ties. Your soul knitted and intertwined with another person is not a good thing Your soul houses your emotions, imagination, and will. Having these things tied into another person is not a good thing.
We are not soul tied to the Lord. We are in covenant relationship with the Lord. People often described the relationship between David and Jonathan but again that was a covenant relationship ordained by God.
A soul tie ties into your soul exactly like the word describes. It pulls on your emotions, imagination, and will.
I dont believe in " soul mates ". This IMO is a worldy term to describe someone that you feel is compatible with you. The reality I have found is we really dont know what is best for us. If we did we would have chosen some of them people who jacked us up before LOL !!!!
