With the exposure of ministries all around the country this year. In your own opinion how prevalent is the following passage of scripture ?
Found in Matthew 6
No man can serve two masters for either he will hate one and love the other or he will hold to one and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and Mammon.

It's been going on since Jesus, it will continue until the end of days.

I believe that this topic is far more important and i was actually considering putting up a topic on this at some point so sister stillfocused u are in the Spirit The love of money has been around for a long time even before the lord came however the true Spirit filled church has only had to deal with this in just the last few centuries.During the dark ages the 'church was corrupt' but i dont really call it the church since it was the apostate catholic church which had nothing to do with salvation. The reason why the issue of money is so important now is the fact that i do not believe that we can see and walk in signs and wonders unless we are rid of the mindset that money is essential to everything especially the ministry. I know that rocks will fly because we have been taught that we need money to be a blessing and to advance the gospel. The western world especially is obsessed with how to get money, how to keep it, how to spend it, how to hold on to it-even in our churches most things are dictated by the budget but if anyone is really believing to walk and dwell in the Holy place i personally believe that they have to be rid of that mindset. The early church and Jesus Christ Himself never made money a major issue. Jesus had some things to say about money and the early church a few things but they certainly did not believe that without money things could not happen. Unfortunately this is the case at the moment. True people called of the Lord instead of stepping out have been conditioned to believe that unless they have or see or squeeze partners that their ministry cannot be and so we have thousands of believers waiting for that breakthrough. Ironically in all my personal studies of the greatest works that God has done by way of revival and moves of the Spirit has been through people who were down to absolutely not a dime....interesting isnt it?

Further on it is interesting to say that Jesus said that For His Name Sake shall we be persecuted.
Not for money. or scandals etc but for His Name Sake meaning the gospel that we preach.
Paul goes on to tell us that there shd not be a hint of any suspicious behaviour even associated with us....hmmm

Is it possible to have a ministry without reproach? We have been conditioned to believe that is not the case and pitfalls and scandals are part of the believer's/minister's walk.......
Something to ponder on: Paul at the end of his ministry said:
2Cr 7:2 Receive us; we have wronged no man, we have corrupted no man, we have defrauded no man. (WOW)
Every minister shd be able to say that and account for it on a regular basis.
Further more:
2Ti 4:6 ΒΆ For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.
2Ti 4:7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished [my] course, I have kept the faith: (WOW)
2Ti 4:8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
Hmmm sometimes i wonder-what i am in the kingdom for? I am here for things? so i can be something to the world or i am i racing towards a heavenly reward? do i actually realise that i am going to stand at a judgement seat of Christ Jesus with my saved self and all my actions weighed and tried?
Hmmm still searching...
