Much of the reason for the division in the church I think ties much into when "Christianity" became the major religion by Constantine, "Catholocism. Since then we have had "breaks" I believe that each denomination has some truth. It's just a matter of finding the absolute truth and putting it altogether. I mean honestly, I believe that whether we're talking about baptism, the HG, standards, etc., I believe that the church should all speak the same language.
The "religious spirit" is usually coined to people that aren't wanting to hear this "new revelation". However, a saying that I'm hearing more and more and I believe has much truth is "If it's new, it's probably not true". There is an order to what we as the body should do. All working together. can't have the hand wanting to clap but the other hand wants to write a poem.... it won't work.
Really, we should all just continue in the apostle's doctrine, their teachings. Organized religion isn't the "issue" but rather not being able to go completely to the way things were before Catholocism is one of the biggest problems
