Were they actually worshipping bush? Can't really determine that from the video. The media always distort what was actually said and being done. They could have had the big picture of bush, to remind the kids that we need to pray for the president, every day. Every time you see his face, say a prayer.. who knows. We sure don't

... Every time you see his face, say a prayer.. AMEN. Thanks for that correction and reminder sis Jas. I confess that my usual response to seeing George Bush's face is most often something more like this Btw, I (inadvertently) first watched that tape without the audio. I'm not quite sure yet what it was, but something about those children's "worship" was very (and surprisingly, because I love passionate worhip, especially with and from kids) disturbing to me... can't put my finger on it... hmmmm...

After watching the video, I looked for more information, mainly about Becky Fisher. You mingt already be familiar with those, but I was not: Main site:www.kidsinministry.com/AboutTheDirector.htmlkidsinministry.com/Articles.Teachings/Ministry.Movement.htmlArticles:kidsinministry.com/Articles.Teachings/Ministry.Movement.htmlkidsinministry.com/Articles.Teachings/CrefloDollar.htmlFire Center:kidsinministry.com/FIRECenter/index.htmlkidsinministry.com/FIRECenter/ThisMonthInPowerClub.htmlI do appreciate the fact that they admit not "knowing what they're doing"... However, as for me, before trusting anybody with my kids (back when they were little...), I like to know that they do know, even, and especially, for spiritual matters. So, it's not being negative about what is being done, nor assuming anything about the ministry. Simply keeping in mind how fragile and impressionable the mind/psyche, and soul of a child are. It was unsettling to me

I just recently reviewed the site and video. It actually reminds me a lot of what many caucasian churches do and so it didn't make me "unsettled" or shocked. I doubt that they were actually "worshipping" Bush but rather talking about him and what values he stands for.
I really saw it as a "cultural difference" more than anything else. I actually thought that it would be a nice thing to look into and if I was nearby, to go there with my kids because it's not often that you see such a large group of kids learning how to praise and worship God. I'm still praying that my kids receive the HG. And to see that other kids are praying and receiving the HG at an early age gives me hope and greater faith to know that it can happen to mine as well.

I didn't understand the hammering of the coffe mug, It could have represented sin, however again unless I see in full detail can't really make a determination. There wasn't anything unsettling to me, and i have actually seen other church who have a "military" approach to worshipping.

I do agree the media does take make a mountian out of an mole hill.
Everytime when it have to do with Jesus, someone always have something to negative to say.. I really don't think they were worshipping bush as an idol, I beleive that pastor knows better.
We only seen bits and pieces, maybe if we seen the whole movie our understanding will be lighten.
That is wonderful for someone can draw children to the Lord, If it done correctly.

Good Morning America picked up this story.
Wasn't a thing wrong with what this woman was doing!
Folk who have no clue as to what's contained in scripture were trying to call her to the carpet. Didn't work. She held her ground and had an answer for all who questioned her.
