Oh I hear you....I can't even begin to tell it. Just after posting that on yesterday..I've been lied on, accused, and all the while I am like...God can I defend myself..and he said NO..keep your mouth closed.

Okay..I knew it was coming. Anointed..I agree that we must return to old landmark. Yet, this is something that has been said from the onset of this. There must be a returning back to our First Love and sometimes the very people that are used to teach us, to preach to us, pray for us, and etc are the hinderances that prevent many from coming into the fullness of Christ.
And many of the things that JB taught were awesome..yet, many began to rely on her solely as the provider of the food they ate. Many have benefitted from her teaching..including many on this bb. For many you can ask them what the Lord is saying to them..they can't tell you..yet, ask them what their Pastors, Prophets, or any our major are saying and they can
tell. The word of God lets us know that we fight not against flesh and blood..my sister or brother in Christ is not my enemy. And until we recognize and accept that fact the fight will continue..because we have not yet caught onto how the enemy comes and destroys what God is doing through disunity, discord, strife, and all that goes along with it.

Lastly I begin rereading her book Spiritual Inheritance and was saddened by the fact that the very words that she wrote...were not the words that were applied the situation or their lives.
This mess heartbreaking and honestly we need to go somewhere and repent and seek forgiveness for the mess that has been created in the body of Christ because of it..because whether or not know it..we played a role in this mess indirectly..

You still reading/rereading her books Stillfocused. LOL! ( ) Just because she's in a present circumstance doesn't make her past experiences void as it relates to that book. As far as her applying her wisdom from the book now, we don't know all that went on behind the scenes. This was her husband first, not just her pastor.

The ark of the Covenant is still relevant for our times, not the box itself but the eternal representation of it. It symbolizes the presence of God. I went to the Threshing Floor conference and was stressed by many of the speakers that we don't worship the ark but recognize what it represents. Also, it was said that the threshing floor represents the posture in which we come before the Lord in prayer ... that's all. I know many disagree and think Juanita Bynum is off and I'm not trying to defend her when I say this but I appreciate her teaching and demonstrations of the tabernacle and how she reanacted the marching in of the ark by the priests. It gave me a visual picture of how God was reverenced during biblical times. I know many have labeled JB's ministry as off and strange but I see nothing strange with preaching about holiness. When JB preached on the tabernacle and all it's pieces, the cord of holiness ran down the center of all that it symbolized. Some may think, well what she's doing don't take all that and it's fine. All I know is I understand the principles of what she's saying and no, I'm not setting up arks in my home but if a person wants to install one in their church for what it represents, then I think it's wonderful. We install pictures and illustrations of a black, white, mexican Jesus' all over the place and no one is cracking down on that. As for people not holding her ministry in regard anymore is not true. There are many people who like her now as they liked her before her incident ... there is also people who don't like her now as they didn't before the incident, who cares as long as she's doing what she believes God wants her to do. There were many people in the bible who didn't hold Jesus in high regard and even today, many of his own people don't hold him in the regards that he's due... so if Jesus was done like that, then I won't be surprised about Sister Bynum (who needs Christ everyday like the next person). One thing I'm glad about is in the midst of people coming against her (more so than Weeks) she's still preaching. She can choose to go in a corner and get bitter and say she won't preach no more to the church, but she's still going on. Now, that's strength and gives me encouragement that no matter what people think of you, you have to keep going. I'm also glad that JB isn't chasing the media this year, it seems like the opposite is actually happening now (as the media know it will get carnal Christians fired up on message boards). LOL! I appreciate her teachings on the tabernacle and the ark. I hope more arks are put up in churches to remind people that we serve a holy God. He's so holy that even in the bible, they trembled and used caution at even saying his name. Where is that in today's church where it seems reverence for God isn't treated as it was back then. If it wasn't for the blood, all of us would be jacked up, but even in light of the blood, God is still holy and commands that he be treated as such today. What Juanita (and not her only) has showed us is we need to go back to the old landmark. We need to be reminded. This doesn't do away with the work of Christ but only reveals him more and more. If you agree, fine and if not, fine. Continue on Sister Bynum! You and your husband are still loved. Let God's will be done. You all have blessed and will continue to bless lives if God has decreed it to be so (no matter what man thinks about it).

P.S. Some may wonder what point I'm making when I say this, but in the upcoming movie Juanita is in, I learned that she's playing the role of owner of a Christian television station. So obviously she hasn't swayed that much. Also, the producer of the movie has produces other Church-based movies/plays. Juanita said in an article long before her situation that in this movie, she's not exchanging her calling as a prophet ... only that God has added to her a desire of her heart. I think it's wonderful and I rejoice with anybody (known or not) who finds success in their life.

I know many will not agree with what I've written, but that's fine. It's my opinion.

Anointed... I almost call you heaven ;D You guys look so much a like, you can almost be twin I appreicate what you explained.... I see it the same way as a representation of the old, I have no problem, many prophets uses sign and symbols, which is biblical. I have her book the Threshing Floor... and most of the scriptures are from the NT.... and pointing toward Christ. She have a diagram of the Tabernacle of Moses... Each part point to Christ and relationship with God.

The only problem I have is limiting the present of God to a specific place and item... I understand why she requested to use the prayer room... She was in Atlanta area and she needed to go before God right away.... Why she didn't go to an hotel?.... She would have to do spiritual cleaning and be limited to how she pray... she can't scream out like she want to and comfortable with. That don't mean God's present can't enter that room..... Her spoke person should not speak out every little detail, she shouldn't mention the ark, ppl don't understand what it mean and it throw them off... She should have say Bynum has a special place in the prayer room at Global Destiny where she goes before God, similar to the one at Waycross, period!

Read the thread on leviathan spirit in Bible Study.... it made me think about what really going on in this situation and the church.

Weeks, didn't plead guilty again.... I pray the God will move in this situation and that the two of them can get on with their lives and bring a closure. I also love them both and want the best for them and all that are a member of the Body of Christ.

right smarty. There are 11 to be exact...1 on January 15, and the rest on January 24...No other responses until today.

So me posting occasionally since January, and You continuously posting to this topic..is quite different don't ya think?

Sometimes we miss what God is really doing in a situation. Anointed.. I have never been against her..I don't believe any on this bb has been. This stuff is really crazy....because it brought the good ..bad..and ugly out of everyone. Anointed..I have set back and watched her going in another direction and all I said was pray for her. This started many years..long before she married TW. Yes, I have admitted and will continue to admit that at one point she was becoming an idol in my life...until the Holy Spirit reminded me of what happens to idols. What she is going through does relate to the book...as she did not follow the every things that she was telling and preaching to us that we must do. Over the past year I have watched several ministries go down because the Pastor, preacher, and etc was doing one; but, not living what they preaching..the ministries were both big and small. I yet to post what came to me when this happen and I still will not. I know that I did not start this thread..but, I am asking the moderators to lock it.

AT, I hope that was a compliment. Heaven and I aren't the same individuals (if that was what you were implying). I think "heaven" is much too nicer than me.

But you know what, even though the presence of God is within us wherever we go, there is a specific location I go each morning to pray (in the park). I can do it at home but God showed me a park to go commune with him each morning and that's what I do. So I can understand there being a location that is important to Bynum going to commune.

As for her going to Global Destiny, she helped build that church and if she want to go use a prayer room she has every right as a co-founder. Besides, Weeks says the church is open to her if she ever wants to come back and even host prayer service. But again, the woman is off, right?
