Mark 16:17-20
17)......And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name
shall hey cast devils; they shall speak with new tongues.
18)They shall take up serpents; and if they drink of any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them, they shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover.
19)So then after the Lord has spoken unto them:he was recieved up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.
20)And they went forth , and preached everywhere , the Lord working with them, and confirming the owrd with signs following. AMEN.
also read John 14:11-13
Acts 3:6-8
Acts 28:3,5
Focus..........Jesus fulfilled the promise to grant signs following the believers , and He validated the ministry of the early church.
We should enjoy the miracles, wonders and signs that are available to the church today.
They where in the early church, and are still in the church.
The more we believe in their availablility, the more we will
enjoy their possibility . We should also remember that miracles to us are not miracles to God. Supernatural miracles . or phenomena beyond the natural, are normal activities of God.
When God raises the dead or restores sight to the blind, He is not doing anything beyond what is normal activity for Him.
This is another reason that we know that miracles have not cease
He has never stopped being God, and the working of miracles is just business as usual for Him. Wewwwwww Lawd I feel the Holy Ghost about now.......Thank you Jesussssssssss!!!!!!!
The church is God's unique body, for nothing can compare ---not a business, an academic institution, or any organization.
Christ's natural body was a special creationthat bypassed one-half of the normal process of procreation.
The church is His spiritual Body, and it too is a special creation unlike any other entity that has ever existed.
The church is not an accident or an anomaly.
It is an God-ordained tapestry woven with threads stained by His Blood.
It did not evolve, nor did it just happen, The church was the ultimate dimension of God's plan.
God became incarnate in Christ Jesus and became physically involved in creatin the spiritual body of Christ-the church-----making it unlike any other institution, organization, or body. Having its head in Heaven and its feet on the earth, the church is the ultimate in divine intervention for our world today......
