"And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely..." (Rev. 22:17)

"And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth. Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God..." (Rev. 19: 6-9).

LOL!
I remember that movie... and that Julia Roberts' character thoroughly got on my nerves, lol!
Now if that bride in the picture was tying on her sneakers, I might be inclined to agree with you.
But being that those are combat boots she's lacing up...I'd say she's preparing to run into, up over, straight through and all around anything and any enemy that dares to get between her and her bridegroom.
And I'm GLAD about it! ;D

I know, lol! It does seem kinda crazy sometimes, doesn't it? I mean what with females becoming sons and males becoming His Bride... Gotta catch it in the Spirit, sis! Would you be more comfortable if that wedding dress is a "fine white linen" one?

No worries, sis! I understand and I do love a good joke. But I would caution you/us to be really careful with that "silly", especially as a woman of GOD. Because the scriptures actually have some important things to say about "silly women" (which, not coincidentally, I'm presently studying ) and none of them are good.
