You didn't get the pink Mercedes Benz, after standing in the $1,000.00 line and your offering envelope get check by the prophet (profit) bodyguards that look like they play for the Giant or Jet. After they check to see if the $1,000.00 check is in good standing.... than you get a page worth of false prophecies... of houses, and cars... million dollars business.... standing before thousands of people preaching.... etc. The same prophet can't see you living in sin and have not tithe or gave offering in your church for the pass five years.

Never went to God for that stuff in the first place. Some folks are in error. not everyone is. However the drawback is that the folks in error get more press than the folks doing the will of God.

This may not be the answer that you are looking for, but God will tell you what He has called you to be. If your desire is to be anything or anyone other than what God has called you then it is part of a carnal desire and not at all from the Lord.

How do you know if God really spoke that call in your spirit?

I have found that God will often confirm His Word to you. How He chooses to confirm it is totally up to Him.

Amen ASWSOU I totally agree, He will definatly let you know. Alote of people once they do find out there calling some don't want to hear it or dont want to accept it at first. Some people not all but some do run from God. All I can say about that is that you can run but you cant hide. Just like the Prophet Jonah for an example.

I must admit that I was one who originally ran from the call of God (about 7 years ago). Partially because I did not fully understand the prophetic call but moreso because of my "fear of people". Eventually, God gave me this scripture:

Jeremiah 1:17 17 Thou therefore gird up thy loins, and arise, and speak unto them all that I command thee: be not dismayed at their faces, lest I confound thee before them.

I was more afraid of what God may do, than what the people may do. I no longer have the fear of people and know that it is more important to be obedient to what God is saying for me to do.

There is humility with the call. At the same time there is a huge responsibility with the call. Many times people cannot or will not understand what is going on, but you still must be obedient.

Consistent prayer and time spent in the Word is key to the prophetic call.

Yeah there is a huge responsibility with that call and a High price that one has to pay for such a anointing/mantle on their life. Alote of people see all the glitter and the glamer so to speak and people are like man I want some of that anointing but They have no idea what you went through to get to that place.

all I know is that God Just wants a willing vessel, someone that has clean hands and a pure heart to minister to His people. It doesn't matter what Calling you have or what gifts that you have. God can use anybody, anytime, and anyplace if He sees fit. We just have to make ourselves available. A Vessel in His Hands! ;D
