Dont you think people will also say anything to STOP you for voting for someone else True Giant they will, don't get wrong I dont have anything against anybody and their beliefs but if he is trully muslim I just dont think that America is ready for all that....Im not 100% sure if he is currently practicing the muslim faith at this time but he was brought up muslim and was taught in a muslim school.... |

Jessica pray.. dont assume... I know people who had a strict and righteous Christian upbringing and yet they are as far away from Jesus as you can get... How many preachers kids do you know that aint even remotely close to God... Jessica.. and I know people who are Jewish who went to a Jewish school and dont practice a thing... I know people who were brought up Catholic and went to Catholic schools who are now Protestants.. He has talked openly about " his faith in Jesus Christ " whatever that means... I have never seem him confess to being a muslim. How many foolish saints voted for Bush because they said he was a " Born Again Christian " ? I have seen Bush HIMSELF basically say that Islam was EQUAL to Christianity... no TRUE Christian would ever say that... you might be careful not to denegrate another persons faith but they would never place it EQUAL with the truth.... SO dont believe everything you see.. Dont believe every email you read.. and dont believe what they say.. ( including Obama ) Go... pray... seek the Lord... ask HIM who to vote for.... |

Jessica...you have received great advice. I know that many will remember the heated discussions that we had on this bb during the last election..man!!!!!!!!! Sadly, many assume that because you are African American that you will be voting for Obama..just Monday I was asked by a campaign worker..so, will you be voting of Barak ? I told the man don't place that position ..as at that was something I would not disclose to him. I also noticed that it was not African Americans working his booth..as I live in the most racist state in the USA.

ROFL, Jessica, Barak has gone on record stating that he is not a muslim. He has also attended my church and stated that Jesus Christ is his Lord and Savior. |

Hey Guys,
One of the tv net works did a news show expose on Obama about 2 years ago. The truth is that Obama had very little to do with his father growing up and was raise for most of his younger years by his "white mother" and her well to do family.
In fact Obama attened some of the most posh private schools in America... This is how he eased right on into attending an ivy leage college. ... It also why every now and then you have some question if he is "black enough" as well.
honestly I think people are going after his last name...
Which by the way he just started to do after his father died... Up til then we was called "Barry".

I live in Canada and even though I personally am conservative in philosophy, (my wife democrat) we are both happy with the way Obama is doing.
