Seriously, y'all. As a former clinician, I have often wondered if JB is bi-polar/schizophrenic.) My mom is a clinical psychologist and she always says that JB is mentally ill and this was during the No More Sheets message when my mom picked that up...... but that doesn't negate her gift.......

I'm glad that others also see MUCH cause for concern in Veter Nichol's biography of JB. To me, it was rather like an inside and very detailed look at JB's descent into and madness and her propensity for mental illness. Seriously, y'all. As a former clinician, I have often wondered if JB is bi-polar/schizophrenic. And I would add that I have also often wondered what Nichol's (real) motivation was in writing that book. That whole "spiritual mother/father-birthing out folks" thing can be a real "questionable" piece. You never went there!!! ;D God pursues us in our pain. Even when we ran and refuse to be loved by Him and trust me none of us can run faster than GOD. He always catches us ;D ;D

Now Sista Bee, you already know that just like you and a whole lot of us here... I will go there, lol! And I'm going there again with this: ...So we done made a mentally ill woman famous and taken lessons from her. Could very well be the case, my sister... Could very well be. Hmmmmmm... Perhaps we should discuss that possibility.

Perhaps we should discuss that possibility. Sis Anointed may have touched on something....as I was driving home it occurred to me the growth that I am witnessing on this BB from the days of the old JB board......... I was enlightened by Sis. Nikkol statement that No More Sheets did not have a scripture base.....JB get up take the mic and start talking about how the message from Noel Jones has prompted her to tell her story......and she didn't want to tell it.........and the message takes off from there....... In all truth I wasn't convicted to come to Jesus during that message...... I was moved because there was a sister out there with a platform who understood what I was going through....and at that time I was playing church yet sleeping around and was getting handsomely rewarded (materially)........ I connected with JB on that level however, years later once I committed and gave my life to Christ, start studying the Word and applying the Word to my life ...... I am finding more of a disconnect with her messages............ The first time JB message sent a red light warning sign to me was the "If you so bad Birth You out a Husband" message.... There are people who can function mentally ill as long as you don't move them out of there comfort zone....

LANL..you mentioned a disconnect with JWB's message at a certain point. It was about 5 yrs ago for me when she came to the region I live in. She preaching the all of sudden she stopped preaching at starting writing..this was during the time she teaching on the level according to dimensions.

Wow, I must say that I'm amazed at the direction this particular thread has taken. When I read the accounts of some of what Juanita has gone through, I felt heartbroken. I always knew that she went through a lot, but I didn't really know all of the details--and still don't, but I now know more than I did before. It does explain some things, that's for sure. For one, to me it proves that Juanita is a very strong woman. Now we can talk about mental illness and all that, but riddle me this: who in the world could possibly 100% work through all of the trauma and pain that Juanita has experienced? It takes a lifetime, and it is a process. I know myself that I have things inside me that I need to (and, frankly, am hesitant to) work out, but that don't make me sick in the head. I think this thread should be the "other side" of the main thread. Right here, in this thread, I'm going to focus on the experiences that she's had in her life that has shaped her into the person that she is today. Also, I got a chance to hear the message where she talked about "birthing out a husband." Now I can definitely be a technical, detail-oriented person (y'all know that), but I totally understood what Juanita meant by that phrase, although the phrasing was inadequate, and I also agreed with her. Essentially, she was saying that if you want to be a real woman, do what a wife is supposed to do by being a helpmeet and supporting your husband, and much of that is done by faith. By doing so, you won't "birth him out" but the Bible does declare that you will sanctify him and your entire house (and I believe that passage can be applied in a broader context than just one saved spouse and one unsaved spouse). And for the record, yes, I did just defend the prophetess.
