Ybrown does scripture support the Pre adamic race? Depending upon interpertation one could say yes and no: Genesis 1:26 - 30 26And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
27So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
28And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
29And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.
30And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.
31And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day. Based upon this scripture God obviously made man and woman on the 6th day. As a matter of fact God gave orders to the man and woman to have dominion over the Earth (together as EQUALS) . I'll get back on this subject

Of those scriptures, which ones do you think hint at the pre-existence of humanity prior to Adam and Eve?

Ybrown of those scriptures what stands out most to me is that God spoke to them, blessed them and gave them orders to "replenish" the Earth. Also, if we go back to the creation story, in the beginning the Earth was void and without form.. I can't get into this now...... i can only type a sentence or two at at time (don't have enough time) but I will be back tonight promise

Existence of man before Adam would mean death before Adam. Such a belief strikes at the very heart of the gospel message as can be seen in 1 Corinthians 15:21-22, "For since by a man came death, by a man also came the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all shall be made alive." If the Bible is not correct about death as a result of our sin in Adam then why should we believe it to be correct in our salvation in the second Adam, Jesus Christ?

God created man and woman prior to taking Eve out of the rib of Adam.....
And of course the story of Adam and Eve could also be seen as the beginning of relationships and the whole structure of mankind (family order etc....)

Ybrown of those scriptures what stands out most to me is that God spoke to them, blessed them and gave them orders to "replenish" the Earth. In Hebrew, the word ' male’ ', when translated to ‘replenish’ (KJV) simply means ‘fill,' and in the English of King James’ day, ‘replenish’ also usually meant ‘fill’, not ‘refill,' so the word ‘replenish’ therefore cannot be used to support ideas about a previous creation, which was later destroyed. The word 'replenish' did not begin to have its present day meaning to 'refill' until the 17th century. The starting point for tracing the origins of words when understanding biblical texts should be the language of the original source, Hebrew, not our adulterated English, present day understanding of those words. Erroneous theories like pre-adamic man were merely invented to support the humanist/evolutionist theories that the earth was millions of years old. If you adhere to this idea, then you have to ask yourself what was so special about Genesis 1:1 that God thought we needed to know? Why begin there?

This is from my post in Lucifer's thread.
There are proof the the earth is billions years old. They have bones of cave men, that exist before Adam and Eve. The Greek Word for "was" in Genesis 1:2, is "Hayah" means became, without form (waste) and void (empty.) The earth was not created that way. God created everything perfect and complete. God told man and woman to be fruitful and replenish the earth. This after he created all the animals, plants etc. Why would he tell them to replenish, if the earth was never full.
Isaiah 45:18 say; "For thus saith the Lord that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath, established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited; I am the Lord; and there is none else."
God created the earth with form, How the earth loose it form? How it became Chaos?
Jer 4:23 I beheld the earth, and, lo, [it was] without form, and void; and the heavens, and they [had] no light. Jer 4:24 I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly. Jer 4:25 I beheld, and, lo, [there was] no man, and all the birds of the heavens were fled. Jer 4:26 I beheld, and, lo, the fruitful place [was] a wilderness, and all the cities thereof were broken down at the presence of the LORD, [and] by his fierce anger.
Isaiah 14:12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! 14:13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: 14:14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. 14:15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.

In the beginning Godcreated the heavens and the earth, Genesis 1:1.
The earth created in the beginning (dateless pass) not 5000 years ago. The age of the earth can not be counted. So there is a space between dateless pass, which can not be number and verse 2, " And the earth was (mean became) without form (waste) and void (empty)..." How long the earth laid in this state, It has been estimated from 250,000 to 500,000 years. This was based on the probable age of the carbonifarous coal deposits of the world.
I have to come back ..... I'm sleepy and have to get up so early for work....

The same command was given to Noah and his sons.... "Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth." the same meaning in the Hebrew language and the same command. Your comment, don't prove anything. There are proof that the earth is older than 5000 years old. NO IT DO NOT SUPPORT HUMANIST/EVOLUTION THEORIES! Like I said, God did not created a earth that was a waste and empty it became that way...... The question is HOW? AT

In a discussion with someone, they were discussing how they found out how old something is. It has something to do with carbon dating which is defined as:
carbon dating - a chemical analysis used to determine the age of organic materials based on their content of the radioisotope carbon-14; believed to be reliable up to 40,000 years
Although they say that the earth is "x" years old, it is based on something that can't be proven as fact....therefore, the "proof" isn't necessarily proof....

First I will say, that to accept, or not to accept the pre-Adamic Race as a part of your Bibical interpretation or belief, is a choice. Nothing more.
I view it as for 'study' purposes only, for those who seek a deep knowledge of the scripture, which has nothing to do with our salvation.
Some refer to that time as the Pre-Adamic Race. I refer to the Pre-Adamic Era, or Ante-Chaotic Age: The end of earth's first perfect state, because of Lucifer's rebellion. Overthrow of the world that then was.
The lucifer flood was more devasting, and lasted longer than Noah's flood. For it destroyed even vegetation (Gen 2:5-6; Jer 4:23-26), while the 1 year and 17 days of Noah's flood did not (Gen 8:11, 22; 9:3).
**************** Jer 4:23-26 23. I beheld the earth, and lo it was without form, and void; and the heavens and they had no light.
24. I beheld the mountains, and lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly.
25. I beheld, and lo, there was no man, and all the birds of of the heavens were fled.
26. I beheld, and lo, the fruitful place was a wilderness, and all the cities thereof were broken down at the presence of the Lord and his fierce anger.
************ 2 Peter 3-7 3. Knowing this that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lust.
4. And saying, where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
5. For this they willing are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
6. Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water perished:
7. But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word, are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgement and predition of ungodly men.
8. But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand yearsas one day.
**************** Reference to Lucifer in Is 14:12-23; and Ez 28;11-27; is of lucifer that is no more. Yet, these were exhibiting traits of lucifer. Question: For those who do not support the Pre-Adamic Era, etc., What does the scripture say happened after lucifer's rebellion, and he was kicked out of heaven? And what happened after that?
We know God was ANGRY.

No one can estimate the age of the earth, it was created in the beginning, that is dateless pass. And no one can estimate along the earth exist before it became without form and void. How long the earth laid waste and empty? You said the radioisotope carbon -14 is only believed to be reliable up to 40,000 years, which show the earth had to be laying in waste at least 40,000 years. I have been taught that the earth was only 5000 years old. This teaching was like pieces to a puzzle that just did not fit into the Word of God on creation. I thought may be I should not wonder about it and accept it, but I couldn't. When God revealed the Truth to me , all the pieces of the puzzle came together and fit. Thisshall2pass wrote: Thisshall2pass, You answered the question that I asked concerning what happen. Lucifer already fell and was in the garden of Eden before Adam and Eve was created. Lucifer fell before the earth was restored. This what I want to ask you: Was there life on earth before Lucifer's flood, that destroyed everything including the earth itself. The earth perished, it was baptized in water (Immersed) no life was left on the earth, even the fishes in the sea died. AT
