AT and This2,
Since you believe there was another earth age, how many earth ages, in total, do you think there were?

what I consider bad theology is any theology that: 1) gives more attention to the adversary than what is explicitly outlined in scripture 2) undermines the atonement by implying that some people have lived that were not qualified for God's grace through the death of Christ because they were not of the lineage of Adam 3) panders to godless streams of scientific thought by making unwarranted extrapolations of the biblical text to accomodate the theories purported by such streams of thought The "pre-Adamic" race theory does all three. After thoughtful consideration, I think that I will rescind point #3, as there are respectable Christians who hold to an "old earth" ideology. The idea is not "godless" in and of itself, although it seems to contradict a fundamental Christian point of view (which isn't necessarily a bad thing).

I will respond more to this later, but I think about when God said let us make man in "our image", could it have been that the Neantherdals or the cave men were not made in the image of God "Elohim" ? Because it doesnt seem as if Adam and Eve and all the other relatives saints and friends...lol afterwards fit the description of the cave men fossils with the facial structure, and the way they lived , and the whole nine that we see on the discovery channel. Im not saying i believe science over the word or anything, but the fossils and other findings cant be denied totally. What do you think?
