Many Churches have already begin to remove seats from pulpit. Before my church slitted, the pulpit was decorated with Banners, nobody set up there, not even the speaker. My leader alway refer ministering on the floor close to the people.

This depends on what part of the country you are in. Cuz let me tell many still got a problem with pants, lipstick and, cutting of the hair and so even have a problem with earrings. Although some have found liberty, others are still very traditional. The church I grew up in is a Pentecostal church and although they are gradually are getting better but that pants thing boy they are struggling with that one. Now you might wear them at home but you betta not wear them to church. LOL
True most churches now have a ministers section and its on the floor with the congregation. We used to be onthe pulpit, but since we remodeled the ministers section is onthe floor.

Well Im down here in Alabama, and I believe over time things have changed. I was in holiness for about 10 yrs and at first my Pastor didnt care for any women Pastors really, but he tolerated them at times, but personally he didnt want to be with that idea. But we have to admit a lot has changed over time, I grew up strict holiness after about the age of 10 , we had to wear dresses to church, no pants, when i got married and saw ppl at my husbands church wearing pants it made me feel funny. But even in some non-denominational churches they dont care for women clergy, they might pretend like they do but some really dont But times have changed, and EVERYONE should recognize that, even that Pastor. I still say that was rude. Because the women had received their license as well as the men, and preach the same gospel. Come on now let's be real, Jesus would not have been with that. That was just outright WRONG, and not showing love for the bros and sis in Christ. Can we say Phariseean Spirit..... ? That was plainly Religious.
