I understand that all have sin and if it wasn't for God's grace it could be me..........
The problem I have is that we have embraced the homosexuals for so long until they are now almost running the show.....we let them direct the choir, play the organ, sing, dance and shout and now when the exposure comes we want to duck and hide as if we didn't know it was there all along. (I am not referencing Hez)
And what has gotten me the most is the guys marrying these women as cover ups to move foreword in leadership positions.
The day has come when Saints can not call out anything without being ridicule or seen as in a negative light.....God is a god of grace but he is also a God of Judgment and we as his children need to be more like our Father.
If God calls out sin and declare it is wrong then we need to start doing the same thing and quit letting so much mess slip by......
How did it come to this that a well known "mand of God" is being accused of homosexual activities, back in the day sinners, saints alike wouldn't dare start malicious rumors on the children of God.
You don't hear any of the older pioneers being called gay and homo? You heard that Allen, Seymour and dad Mason (just to name a few) were holy men of God........
Something is wrong....

I also want to add that..God does not always expose. He does allow you time to get it right (thats the unmerited grace), but when we continue to openly put the cross to shame and you do not heed to the convictions and warnings, then in my opinion..we deserve to be exposed.
Anytime a message comes that pricks my heart about something that Im dealing with, and have not gotten under complete subjection..I need to check myself, make my way to the alter and get it right! We so afraid of people and what they think.
Better put that garbage aside and get right with God!

Jasmine..it is true that do recognize one another. My cousin was a homosexual..he could out sing..out dance..and yes, out buck any woman in the choir box and the congregation. He died of AIDS over 10 years, ago. Unfortunately, our Pastors are not addressing the issues that cause deception within the heart of many. Many years I read an article in Charisma magazine where a man was deceived by this spirit..left his wife and family...thank God they were reconciled. He mentioned that this spirit seeks and attacks men who are gifted in the ministry of praise and worship..along with it's running partner..pride..I found that interesting; yet, very profound at the same time.

Amen to the last few posters!!
We have become so accustomed to not experiencing the real presence of God that now it is almost normal for half of the ministerial teams in some churches to be homosexual.
This is not about not loving a brother or not caring about his salvation it is about holding people accountable.
My main issue is the fact that these people insist on getting or remaining in leadership. If you arte having struggles or have not yet been delivered of issues like this then go sit down somewhere untill God sorts you out.
Nevermind the entire congregation and what they may be getting off you, nevermind your wife and family and the hurt that you are causing them, nevermind the cross of Christ and the shame that is being brought to it on a community/nationwide scale.
IT IS NOT ABOUT 1 INDIVIDUAL it is about the testimony of Jesus Christ.
Have i got issues that i need to lay down-more than anyone can imagine moreso i am the chief of sinners therefore i am not going to run around being anyone's pastor or trying to be a voice to anyone.
Should leaders be perfect-no however if they are truly truly walking with the Lord whose presence is a consuming fire then you simply cannot live a lifestyle of sin it is impossible.

I would submit to you all that the initial post in this thread and many of the subsequent posts, not only on this message board but others throughout cyberspace, demonstrate why African Americans are in the state that they are in in America.
Personally, I do not believe ONE WORD of this supposed "account." This is NOT to say, however, that Pastor Walker doesn't have his issues--that I do not know for sure; it is between him and his Maker.
I pray that the enemy that wars against the soul of our brother will be DEFEATED on EVERY front.
And since it's "exposing" time in the house of God, I'm waiting for these lesbians to get exposed. Seems as though they always get away with murder. And discussions like these don't help any, since they can hide behind the excuse, "Well most brothers are gay anyway, so I'll just stay single for the rest of my life," while at the same time they're always over their "auntie's" house. Satan is a liar.

I just thought that I would share that Monique Williams has a new CD that's coming out. Here's the website: www.moniquesworld.com/She has her bio there as well as her new mission since the ordeal.

Honestly Krazee,
This has nothing to do with the state of American Americans, but everything to do with the Body of Christ. I am all down for "covering" a leader, but too often we sit back as saints and turn our eyes. That is not what the bible teaches us to do. If their is sin in the camp and his members knew of this relationship, then it would appear as they have done what the bible teaches. Go to that brother so that you may win him, and if he does not hear you, then you take 2 more to win this brother, and if he does not hear then you take him before the church (paraphrasin).
Now only time will tell if this is true, and Hezekiah steps down. Obviously if the"news" is indeed false there would be no need for him to step down.

I too i am scratching my head at the : this is the reason why we are where we are statement krazee.
If you dont believe it we can appreciate it however when did questioning someone's leadership role due to their sexuality become wrong?
I mean when u are in leadership and insist on remaining in it i am sorry u cannot say that ur issues are just between u and God. It doesnt work that way.
Also i know that believers will come under persecution however Jesus said : FOR MY NAME SAKE. When true believers are persecuted history shows it was because of what they preached.
U didnt have rumours of homosexuality and other such nastiness dogging folks.
I am of the mind that if leadership was made more accountable by the people who they profess they have been sent to that they would not be messing up.
This touch not mine anointed business has sent many men including Robert Liardon etc into all kinds of messes-where there is no restraint....

This is interesting... HEZEKIAH WALKER AND GAY AFFAIR STORY - FALSEBy: Tim Hunter, Founder We at musicnewsweekly.com deeply apologize to the family, friends, congregation and Pastor Hezekiah Walker, for allowing ourselves to be pawns of a totally false story that was confirmed by mediatakeout.com. As the founder, I am deeply hurt of the lack of integrity and respect I have allowed to come through Music News Weekly against Pastor Walker. I was given the opportunity to discuss this matter directly with Pastor Walker and offer my sincere apologies for allowing such a terrible thing to take place. In doing so, it was clear to see the strength of god in the middle of total evil. Pastor Walker, in total wholeness, accepted my apologies. For those that don’t understand how powerful that is, let me offer a deeper look at what this man has suffered because of this story. Pastor Walker is man who built a reputation of solid integrity and respect, worked very hard for all that he has, and inspires many through song and word. A man who speaks to uplift and does so with his own actions. But, one story, which was derived most likely from one sick individual, almost caused destruction to all that he has built. A great many people are familiar with Pastor Walker in all that he truthfully represents. Thanks to a young lady within his church named Nicollette, I was able to dig deeper to find what everyone else already new. Pastor Walker is a HETEROSEXUAL MALE who was the chosen victim of total stupidity on behalf of many. As for myself, through the shame that goes with the territory, express the fact that I am very apologetic to all. I find it very troubling that this fictional story caught my attention and that of other media outlets, but the Pastor Walker program dedicated to influencing gang members from Bloods & Crips to turn in their guns went unheard. I now see this as a blessing and opportunity to actually tell the story of a man and some of the great things about him. We will do a profile story on Pastor Hezekiah Walker and let the world read about his real life. Posted by Music News on 02/24 at 01:20 PM

This is why we need to keep our mouth off people.... We to believe anything that is negative about a person, and don't even check to see if it was true. My Apostle once said if you repeat a lie, you commited that same sin as a liar.

Posted by tgrant on 02/24 at 07:31 PM I take my hat off to you Mr. Hunter for the extent of your apology per your new found information but I must say that I am not the most religious man but do recognize goodness and people through the greatness of their faith and must say that it was bothersome of some of the initial reactions from those who claim to be loving christians and defendants of the pastor. Many wished you death or to be d**ned to hell as opposed to being kinder, more loving or objective to finding out their own facts.
It is bothersome to me that people are quicker to take up arms for a rumor of a minister or politician that they empower or to break their necks to fight for them a parade or a street named after them than to do the same for the unseen, all knowing, most kindest and caring creator. Mr. Hunter or whatever your name is I think it’s cool for you to apologize after your new findings but the reaction of the people who I am sure are mostly black and in the church was scary to read. We as black people have accepted Will E. Lynch’s theory and will fight tooth and nail over something like a rumor and wish one to go to hell instead of saying brother come more to the light. I am black and will admit that I have lost some belief in the strength of my black people because nwe do each other dirty rather white or blue collar, will turn your nose up at someone begging outside of your church who might be homeless instead of asking him in as your brother or sister and not a bum and will fight over a possible rumor of a pastor and not meet in Jasper, Texas by the thousands and demand justice and zero tolerance for white men dragging a black man with a horse chain by the neck on the back of a pick up truck until his head severs. All talk and wolf. Same people who claim to pray for you wished you to hell in the highest aspects of hypocrisy. My people let us all correct our shortcomings and learn from this. We need to. We have to.
I don’t put people on pedistials and look at us all as a tool used by GOD. Compton, Watts, parts of ATL, New Orleans, Washington D.C., West Chicago and many other black areas will not get done until black people get it done and stop jocking each other harder than their own kids. Let us all learn and come full circle. Remember, we are all we got black people and if Katrina didn’t hit home we are in worst trouble than I already thought as a whole.

ATT.. your stand for leadership is great..yet, we all have to be honest with ourselves and each others. Many of our leaders are jacked up..and until the junk they do, say, and commit in the pulpits is addressed many will not come to the saving grace of Jesus Christ. Many unbelievers will not step foot in a church..because they see our leaders out there drinking, having sex, committing adultery, and the list could go on. And before I forget...the same things happen in Causican, Hispanic, and etc. churches, too. Our Pastor just told of us of a well known Pastor who was committing adultery for years..yet, he was changing the lives of others. We must remember that just because they speak the Lord...that they are living it..

Why glorify every negative issue that take place in WELL UNKNOW ministers.... And don't even know what is false and what is accurate,,,, Discussing issues is one thing, but talk about an individual without knowing for sure what have been reported true and completely accurate is gossip and it is a SIN.... It is called lying and sowing discord. I don't believe every sin is weight the same.... God put discord and homosexuality on level and call it an abomination. If we going to talk about sin in the church and those in leadership that are walking in sin.... Let start with SELF.... After we dealt with our own sins, than we can deal with Hezekiah's sins. Do you think God is please with the way we tear people down, Do you He is please with way we handle people who have fallen in certain areas in life? I personally don't know Pastor Walker, I didn't know he is a pastor. And I don't if the report is true or false..... I will be praying for him. cause Lord have not spoken to me concerning this situation. ATT

Victory Grace! I don't see where anyone is saying its true.. everyone is saying that they have heard it before and that they are praying for him. what you see being discussed is the homosexual move that has been in the church for YEARS, which should be talked about and then prayed about. Its nothing wrong with exposing the devil and praying for restoration for those who have fallen into sin. I think we are all aware that we have no stones to throw because we all have sinned and fallen short of his Glory... as a matter of fact if it wasn't for the grace of God there go I. As ambassadors for Christ we MUST continue to cry loud and spare not....Not in one area or sin but in all. I haven't read all the BB as this is the only one I visit, but I will say that on this BB mostly what has been discussed is the sin of homosexuality and how many leaders have fallen into the clutches...
No one said this story was true and most offered up prayer for this man......
Is it wrong to intelligently discuss current events / news?
