And I'm really glad that you do 'cause somebody has to keep us reminded!  God is Spirit. So, at the very least, I don't think any of that stuff matters to God as much, or in the way it seems to trouble so many of us. |

I just think that since my relationship is personal... my convictions are personal... you may not wear pants or makeup because when you were in the world you went overboard and didn't know how to conduct yourself.. so it may be a stumbling block for you... doesn't have to be my stumbling block...I think those things that some term "worldly" are personal convictions that cause division and confusion.... and it doesn't have to be that way.... don't think of me as less saved becasue I don't dress or look like you...

Amen. But those convictions, even if and when we agree about them, may "look" quite different from one person to another, as well as from one place to another.

^Actually, I can. The only stipulation we really had against them back in my home church was not wearing them to church functions (except picnics) or conventions. I live in South Carolina; if anything, I'm convicted to wear shorts as hot as it gets down here. ;D
