I don't know if you are all aware but there is a new term out in the world regarding a man who loves to spend money on his appearance, who indulges in the finer things of life. Who's ways/actions are some what feminine, has tendencies that many would say that he is a homosexual, when he is straight. However, this term and definition includes that this type of man is on the verge of Homosexuality. Its called Metrosexual. So, a man who cares about how he looks, smells, dresses and the like is on the verge of being gay??? That is utterly ridiculous... if that's the case, I know a whole lotta metrosexuals....  Some terms for metrosexual:
A new name for something quite old. Men with taste & style who know about fashion, art, and culture have always existed. In past centuries, these kinds of men were in the uppercrust of society (more leisure time). Technology has enabled men with more leisure time, so less wealthy males can now fuss over their looks and aesthetics almost as much as women. An American Metrosexual is like your average European male. In France or Italy, men can be manly and work on cars and know about art and fashion at the same time. They are cool with that and don't need some special name for the less "masculine" side. In the U.S. we think men all have to be eithrt dumb gorillas or homosexuals. There is some grey area! There is an emphasis on not being pretentious in america that itself becomes a kind of pretentiousness. Men who dabble in vanity or in lofty romantic concerns seem less like men when in fact, they are probably better lovers to women than their traditional counterpart. strait guys who are mistaken for being gay because of their fashion sense and hygene habits.
A normally straight male who possesses qualities of a gay male without being attracted to men. A metro often appreciates the finer things in life and enjoys making himself look good; be it through styling his hair or wearing fashionable clothes.
heterosexual male who appears slightly gay due to his impeccable sense of style, belief in designer hygiene, and willingness to emote. by definition, a metrosexual must be male due to the sterotype that women are usually conscientious of these things from the beginning.
A straight guy who’s so cool, smart, attractive, stylish, and cultured, that everyone thinks he’s gay. But he’s so secure in his masculinity that he doesn’t care.
A man (havn't heard this one used on women) who has a good taste, who often takes good care of themselves and their belongings. They are self-assured in themselves enough to express their feelings with out fear of feeling like they are homosexual in the process. They are often mistaken for homosexuals in denial. |

To all the people out there who have heard the rumors let me ask a question? Have you all ever heard of a rumor where a man or woman of God was holy and people went in an uproar over saying Girl I heard long time ago He was Holy? or Yeah my brother who is Holy told me he was Holy too? Holiness is a lifestyle and it must represent in our everyday life............ I just don't believe that a Holy man would have rumors circulating like this and people so quick to believe it, there is some relevance to the truth here. Whether it is by actions, speech, walk or something............[/quote] I completely agree. Well, I don't care what is said.. Pentecostal, Holiness, we all have had effeminate MEN directing choirs and they all haven't been sat down... We have allowed this spirit to run amok in our churches and sometimes with our own children and don't say or do ANYTHING... We, as a body of believers, let it go unchecked and now it's out and taking hold of our young people... when are we going to stop talking and start praying??? I talked to this guy on Saturday at Godiva Chocolates... he was on the phone with someone saying that "she was trying to make him get the Holy Ghost"... it struck me as strange because he had his hand on his hip, glossed lips, VERY effeminate and he told me he was saved... should I have questioned his salvation? is that my place? or should I have just went by what my eyes seen and drew a conclusion based on his appearance and his presentation??? That which is on the inside will be examplified on the outside. |

When I see a guy who like the one referenced as being "metrosexual", I think he just has very good taste. Heck these days you don't really know who is gay. We got the rough tough football player that are gay. oh and don't forget about brokeback mountain. Used to be a time when that was not the case and if they were gay , you didn't know it cuz they kept it to them selves.
We live in a sad world. only in this world could the broke back mountain be nominated for the best movie of the year.

No you shouldn't have questions his Salvation bcuz that is not your place and niether is that what I am implying.... However a simple statement in a nice voice tone. T As long as you have the spirit of God, you'll know; if you don't have the spirit of God this is where a "list" can be developed... but it would be all biblically based. |

did you take in to consideration that although he was saying she is trying to make me get the Holy ghost that he may have not been saved at all and maybe he was saying holy ghost when maybe the person was trying to get him saved?

The enemy will try every trick in the book to distract, discredit, and destroy those who are living Holy and Right before God. The devil will use those who are in church to destroy God's servants. And the devil will use the media.......... He know church people will be the first to run with it. He do not play fair. There are men the are soft and women that are hard, but not gay, love the Lord and living right before God. There are men that look like men act like men, but are gay and like men and the same with women. The Holy Spirit is the one that uncover, not a bunch of mixed lies and truth rumors. I believe those who are not right, should be set down and ministered to, if they want to get right. We should not be in the business of hurting people, not just the man or woman of God, but their family, love ones, church members, friends and feller ministers.... Do you want your sins boardcasted.... No, you want God to deal with you privately because people can be cold. Nathan didn't broadcast David's sin.... He dealt with him privately. You know what, God did not deal with it right away, the baby was about to be born. We must deal with people the same way we want to be dealt with.... We do not have to tolerate sins.... but deal with it according to the Word of God. What Haz., and all other known ministers do, is not for me to deal with it.... they are not my leaders, I'm not under there covering and I don't have any connection with them, except as the Body of Christ. If my leader fall into sin.... I go directly to my leader and speak to her in privately about the sins. If she refuse to hear me, I will take a mature God fearing leader (Minister) who will not spread rumor or talk about the situation. If my leader refuse to hear both of us. I'll take one more mature God fearing person. If she continue to reject, I will go to her leader and leave it there, not the congregation. I will pray if God want me to stay under her leadership or not. ATT |

so... how does a holy person look??? Please give me a list so I can check out all the people that I know by their fruit and not their look that they are saved.... T As long as you have the spirit of God, you'll know; if you don't have the spirit of God this is where a "list" can be developed... but it would be all biblically based. what does Christ look like? We always try to identify people by a look... I know you by your fruit... whether you "look" "holy" or not.. .if you ain't living nothing your "look" means nothing...and you can "look" a certain way and your life not match with the way you look... just like people tried to clean me up outside when I wasn't delivered inside... just cause I had the evidence of the Holy Ghost... I didn't look at my hands and they looked new and my feet did too!... I still had some junk that I had to be delivered from... still do...I am not yet glorified as Jesus is.. so my look ain't always what folks "think" a holy person should look like based on their limited knowledge of not being able to identify a person's fruit... a whole heap of folk have discounted folks because of a look... I'm so glad GOD looks at my heart and not what it "looks" like to other folk... be care of what your eyes see, cause they see things naturally... gotta look with spiritual eyes as Jesus does... |

As far as Salvation "He who calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Does this mean that they have been delivered from what is plagueing them? I don't know that I would agree that if a man continues to carry on like a woman that He is completely delivered. Seeking deliverance? maybe.. Also being a new creature in Christ, means that we are DEAD to our old life and ways. So whats the matter ZION! |

When the preacher gives his sermon and gives the invitation to those who have found themselves in this circumstance and the Lord has pricked your heart.. Is that not openly? Yes there are many things that God does not reveal in the outward all the time, but because God loves us so much, He will share what you are dealing with and have not discussed with anybody, with someone who will help you and not judge you. We don't confess our faults, so we remain unhealed. Now, God does not always expose, but trust me where in the world did we read in the bible that he wont? |
