Discussing issues is one thing, but talk about an individual without knowing for sure what have been reported true and completely accurate is gossip and it is a SIN.... It is called lying and sowing discord. I don't believe every sin is weight the same.... God put discord and homosexuality on level and call it an abomination.

Again, show us where YOU saw that everyone believed this story was fact. Show us where we specifically said that Pastor Hezekiah Walker was Gay. SHOW us. All the comments referrenced in this post spoke about homosexuality in the church, and how to often it is covered up, and we allow people to not be held accountable.

Yes this post originated because of the article, however who says that you cannot discuss issues that go on in the church?

Hezekiah's history is LEGENDARY in the NYC area. I attended Hugee Theological Bible School with him, attended his and Monique's wedding and have known of his supported DownLowness for years. I too, think someone needs to speak to Monique and find out if what has been reported is in deed true. The Lord has spoken loud and clear to Hezekiah Walker regarding his sexuality for years. Several years ago a well know female NYC minister prophesied about his homosexuality during a church service where he was present. I just heard Byron Cage speaking a New Birth saying he sat with Hezzy for 6 hours on a flight and after talking to him, he knows he is a God fearing man and all of this talk about him being Gay is not true. He also mentioned that Hezzy has been teaching on Homosexuality at his church and all of this is just an attack of the devil. Well maybe it is and maybe it isn't. We all have struggles and we all need to be delivered from something. I'm just tired of the "leaders" in the church trying to pimp and prostitute the people of God, by trying to pull the wool over their eyes. I for one believe that if Hezekiah Walker is not gay, then he certainly does have MANY effeminate ways that he needs deliverance from.

This is why i stated in the very beginning that unless we knew that it was absolutely true we should just pray instead of discussing him per se. There is nothing wrong with discussing the need for deliverance in the body when dealing with homosexuality. But where we get off course is when we start discussing a person and we are not absolutely sure if what we have read or been told is accurate. At the end of the day niether one of us have a hell or a heaven to put anybody in, only God can do that. Further more somebody not anyone at this bb but the person that gave teh false story was definitely sowing seeds of dicourse. But thats how the enemy works divide and conquer. And that was exactly what he did.

i truly pray that the story was false. and if it were not false Lord I pray you will heal, deliver and set free.

New York, NY - Famed Gospel Singer and Pentecostal Preacher Hezekiah Walker has ignored all allegations and rumors surrounding recent ludicrous allegations. Because of the frivolousness of the claims and the absurd contradictions to his morality convictions, its seemed obvious that the origin was one of maliciousness and unmerited slander that satisfied the need for greed in gossip. The most recent reports suggest that he is stepping down as Pastor of Love Fellowship Tabernacle, both Brooklyn NY and Bensalem PA. These are nothing more than lies and the work of the enemy states Walker; it ' s amazing that there is NO truth to any of the allegation which all claims Walker to be at the helm of the reports.

Max Siegel President of Verity Records spoke with Walker to confirm that his record label stands steadfast behind him and fully understand that vicious rumors and slander such as the aforementioned don ' t in any way affect their respect and admiration for him as a Pastor a human being and as a Zomba recording artist.

Pastor Hezekiah Walker responds to recent allegations
in a letter addressed to his church family:

Praise the Lord Saints,

I'm very proud to be called your Pastor. Please be assured that I would never do anything to bring shame to you or the body of Christ. The enemy seeks to steal, kill and destroy. Character assassination is one of the oldest weapons. People weak in mind believe the worst about everyone.

The Preacher is the tallest timber in the forest of humanity. The devil strategically plans destruction during the season of notoriety for he knows that if he waits and makes the tallest timber in the forest fall, the falling tree will destroy so many other smaller trees that stand close to it and look up to the tallest timber. We will give no place to the devil. As we continue to walk in Victory.

The Satanic E-Mail and rumor is a sure sign that this is our Year of Increase. If the enemy is going to get me, he must come better than a transvestite and a blonde wig. As for all of the haters, I m not taking a step down, but a step up. We will continue to preach against sin and promote Deliverance! I refuse to let this distract me so don't you become distracted. Since I posted the initial post... my question was is it true? I never said that he was gay or anything else. I personally know him from way back... nevertheless, some of us are so pious that we can't even have a conversation of something that has been in the church for YEARS!!! This is really nothing new, but when it's somebody we know... watch out... The question was asked, thank GOD it's not true... I pray that whoever is responsible for this repents as well as those that are living a lie within the body of Christ... all will be exposed in time... let's take the blinders off and discuss a real issue that is plaguing the church and turning out hosts of our young people...

Although you asked the question which there is nothing wrong with asking or addressing the issues in the body of Christ. However there were others who tookit as a opportunity to spread rumor or hear say. We have to be careful.

I think that the question still stands if it is true or not......... a retraction or lack thereof doesn't make something definitely true or false.......... but we do know that that which is done in the dark will come to the light.

You asked a question, but people by passed the question and took it as true... People .... especially church people who say they love God and walk in love, are so quick to believe the worst about their brother and sister in Christ and ready to assassinate the character of those in leadership. If anyone take a stand for their victims, they cut you down to nothing and tell to sit down somewhere. I don't know what spirit is in operation, right here of this board (I'm not speaking about everybody). If you don't go along with everybody, you are cut down as if you are not apart....

Why don't we ever hear of men and women being called TRUE Holy men and women of God anymore?

I'll answer because something in their character will cause people to believe that thus and so is true.....No one can ever look at me and my lifestyle and determine I am gay.....I don't walk that way.....Do I have fault yes as we all do but it is time for our leaders to stand and be REAL MEN and WOMEN of God......

And we as members and people of God need to hold our leaders accountalbe for their WALK in Christ and as leaders of God's people.....

It's just time out to quit playing.............

We are so superficial, we don't even really know what's true.. for some of us, our truth is based on our own realities... and our realities are so messed up we really don't know what is right and what is wrong.. if we did, we honestly wouldn't spew off at the mouth all the time... loud and wrong...we don't know how folks really live... only GOD knows and He ain't telling us... do we realize that this is a sign of things to come and it will just get worse??? we get so up in arms about what folks are doing when all that is happening is that they are being exposed... yes, it's praying time, but it's been praying time... ;D

Just because many said they have heard this years ago doesn't mean they are spreading hearsay and quite frankly if people continue to hear that a certain individual is gay or on the DL, lets just be honest..You want to know if its true. Not for the sake of spreading rumors, but just the fact that is it really true.

I dont care who you are, you want to know, If you say you don't..I believe your lying.

Really only God knows the truth. And if Hezekiah Walker says its not true, then we as the Body of Christ should take him at his word, and continue to pray for Him.

Thank God for the retraction, the statement of Music news and the statement of Hezekiah Walker.

Nothing wrong with holding leadership accountable, but when holding people accountable just make sure that what they are being held accountable is accurate is all I'm saying.

As for if people keeping hearing a certain over and over then it must be something too it. I'm not quoting exactly but bottom line people have rumored for years that McDonalds hamburgers were made from ground up worms, still don't make it true no matter how many years the rumor has been out there.

I find it oh so sad that someone found it necessary to take and defame anothers character. But I was when this came out because this article made it seem lik ethey had just gotten divorced. they have been divorced for some years.

But it just goes to show that we the whole body have so much growing to do. Truthfully its not necessary for me to know how people are living, because I have to rely on the fact that God is in control and if they are living not acccording to how he has commanded he will handle it. But alot of this comes form the fact that we put our eyes on man and not on God.

Now don't get me wrong i truly believe that homosexuality is wrong. heck sin is wrong, but all i can continually say is we need to pray before we speak. Now lets be honest after reading through soem of these post do we not see something wrong. some people took this as opportunity to make comments about that man and then it turns out this isn't even true. But beyond that how many people ran and told somebody guess what " Hez is gay." ? Some did and i'm sure some people added to the story.


As far as the person that stated we still don't know if its true or not just because the story is retracted, all I can say is that the man's word should be enough.

And why do we find the need to run and talk about stuff we don't really know. At the end of the day we all are gonna have to be accountable. Let's face it some used this as an ocassion to gossip.
