In response to ur question Sister Anointed i believe that that line was actually demons sent by the enemy to corrupt humanity. I cannot 100% say whether they were principalities that abode in the waters or not but that was a characteristic of marine spirits.

We believe that demons live in the atmosphere, 2nd heavens, over nations, in woods, trees and stuff like that so why is the sea strange or new to people? This is not just in africa even the greeks and romans knew that.

In Cornwall, england where i live is where merlin and arthur and all that existed. We are right on the coast and you have 'supposed civilised' folks going out early to leave 'offerings' for the sea.

In addition through spiritual experiences both when i was saved and unsaved i know that the spirit realm is a very busy one with activities happening all the time. One night the lord took me in a vision and i saw the waters and i saw many creatures that had gathered on the waters during the night it was a kind of market where witches, warlocks and wizards were trading and selling agreements over who could deceive and who could have who. It was actually a kind of stock exchange market trading in the souls of people. I saw creatures with the heads of fishes and the body of humans and all kinds of strange beings and i dont believe that i am alone in that.

Ezekiel 13: 8-
Eze 13:18 and say, Thus says the Lord GOD: Woe to the women who sew magic bands upon all wrists, and make veils for the heads of persons of every stature, in the hunt for souls! Will you hunt down souls belonging to my people, and keep other souls alive for your profit?


I believe the same things happen in the heavens and some planets and also in forests and sacred grounds that have been dedicated and inhabited by principalities. The enemy has different ranks and different strategies to corrupt the world and its inhabitants it just has different manifestations in different parts of the world.

In some places people go to a voodoo priest, some places a medium or an astrologer and some places the sea.

It is interesting that God created man not to only have dominion over the earth but over the sea as well and everything that lives in it:


Gen 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

Gen 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.


Gen 9:2 And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moveth [upon] the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your hand are they delivered.


If we want to take it further is it not interesting that the power of flight comes from the sea.

Gen 1:20 ¶ And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl [that] may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.


Gen 1:21 And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that [it was] good.



All feathered creatures were created from the sea-is that not interesting? The moon is even controlled by the sea and almost all of nature.

You know what, Sis. Beulah, I ought to be ashamed of myself for letting that fact slip away from me. All of the creatures of the earth originated from the sea. It actually has an interesting corrolation to evolution (which I don't believe contradicts the Bible, in and of itself). Hmmm.....

All of this is worth looking into, I believe. I'm just not really familiar with any of it.

The reason why ppl don't know about these demon is because the church don't teach about them... most pastor don't know anything about them even those who teaches on spiritual warfare.

My apostle travel to Africa on regular basis, she is in Africa now.... many time after she ministered, the women would knock on her hotel door, crying that they being call to the sea. She would ministered deliverance to these women to keep them from going to the sea. She taught us about mermaid spirit, the sea kingdom alone with the lust demons that was attacking ppl at night.

I live in Miami, not far from the beaches.... and surrounded by water (a bay)... There are some big demon in the water.... where I used to live at... the ppl in the area were doing some heavy witchcraft around the water, because we lived right at from the water ( the backyard led to the water), those demon would actully come into the house. We had to anoint and pray in and out side the house regularly. There were ppl doing animal sacrifice in that water.

That is ok Krazee i am also a i still consider myself a baby christian so we are all learning and never cease to. I will love to hear of the correlation to evolution when u have the time.

Thanks for sharing that Sister Anointed. I also do however believe that God will reveal knowledge according to the area one lives in and the operations of the demons in that person's area or ministry.

The Bible says that the sons of Issachar not only knew the time but they also knew what to do so God will teach and reveal what we need to deal with in our generation. Not all have a specific ministry of deliverance although all believers are called to cast out demons and so the lord furnishes accordingly.

This is a very interesting topic.

In my culture (North American Canadian Indian), we have oral history that tells of nox nox, spirit beings that have jurisdiction over territories.
The nox nox on the coast is typified by a sea monster, or octipus. People could be at peace and be protected as long as the nox nox was regarded. The people would burn offerings to the nox nox and respectfully throw the first fish bones of the season back into the water.

These sightings ceased when the gospel came to our people over a hundred years ago.
I and the Christians amonst us have redeemed some of the neutral practices for Christ. We open our feasts with prayer and sing Jesus keep me near the cross in closing then close in prayer.

When I connect the dots it is not hard to see that much of the disfuction in our community has to do with the the fact that we are slaves to who ever we yield our members to.

Well, you know that in evolutionary biology, the first forms of life are said to originate in the waters--both plant and animal life. That's mainly what I was getting at.

And what's up with all of this "abort what they implanted within you" stuff? How in the world can a demon have sex with a human? Last time I checked, it's pretty hard to have sex if you don't have genitals, which generally requires a human body. But what do I know, I'm only a masters candidate in biology.
