Sis. Keita, all is well. I pray all is well with you also.  If you can show me one time where Jesus himself while walking this earth as one of us mentioned gays or lesbians It would be really appreciated. And what will that prove? Only that we have no record of Jesus mentioning it. Knowing that a person walks with the Lord has nothing to do with "discernment." It has to do with maturity, bearing fruit, and allowing the Spirit of God to lead you into all truth--and the one that pertains to this subject is a glaringly obvious truth of scripture. I don't care what you try to throw up, homosexuality is an abominable sin in the Lord's eyes and there is NO condoning it. Amen bro, Amen! |

Therefore sin is taken care of. ALL sin..... Again , ALL sin has been taken care of when our Lord Jesus died for us ALL. There is only one sin that is unforgiven. Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. ALL others are forgiven. |

Sin is forgiven upon repentence. Yes, Jesus died for all sin but unfortunately not all will receive Him. A practicing homosexual is still in sin as the bible clearly states its stand on such a lifestyle.

A practicing homosexual is still in sin as the bible clearly states its stand on such a lifestyle. Ok , but does praticing lies count as the same. EVERYBODY lies. Whites lies, little embelishments etc. Because you still lie does that mean that you haven't received him. I am just trying to make a point. I see gays being put out of churches etc. If we kick them out of church where are they going to go? Where and how then are they going to receive the word. How then are they going to get to know Christ? How then will their lifestyle that seems to have you and Krazeeboi panties in a bunch change? If they are not given a chance to know the creator how will they be given the chance for change? If we as Christians the light of the world salt of the earth seperate ourselves from those that "need" (because we all need) Christ. Then how could change ever come about? |

Yes, the bible talks about liars and the father of lies and where they will end up - however this post is not addressing liars. I am saying what the bible says about one who is practicing sin. |

I do understand that I am the minority on this issue. But to make personal attacks on me like I have an attitude, or go ahead and get upset is just ridiculous. So we can't agree to disagree. There will be plenty of things said on here that I disagree with and has been. But do we have to go back and forth about it. Now I see what giantsdodie meant. All the back and forth trying to prove your point. Can I voice my opinion on here without being attacked or having someone who knows NOTHING about me say that I have an attitude. Trust me you would know attitude when I have one. But at this point I will truly let this thread go...

I believe kitty was referring to getting them delivered and out of the lifestyle but not kicking them out of the church. She also mentioned that we should address the issue of those who practice the sin of homosexuality but still hold leadership positions in the church. I don't believe she meant kicking them out. |

My last post was in response to your post on gays being put out of churches. I am sorry if you feel personally attacked but i am sorry sis you have been doing the same thing. You know nothing about us either many of us are actually walking in outreach ministries to the poor and the brokenhearted but you dont know that either but keep making sharky bites at things you do not know. It is exactly because of that that about 5 people have mentioned your attitude and maybe obviously communicating on a board with people we dont interact with on a daily basis there can be communication misunderstanding but you have been coming across that way and have not extended the same curtesy that you are demanding to others to be fair. I dont believe that anyone has gone out of their way to pick on you but have rather responded to what you put out. I am sorry if after all these 6 pages of biblical discussion you still think this is man's opinion when this post has been thoroughly referenced biblically and with sound articles  We are simply not ashamed to take our stand for Christ in a godless society and Jesus was not either so since when did that become wrong and unloving? If sin was not an issue then why was Jesus in the minority and why did He die? Again Sister TRUE I am sure that you have a lot to share so i have suggested that you start posts with the points that you are trying to make so that people can dialogue with you but at present you actually do come across as being baseless since what you seem to have to say has nothing to do with this post at all. Start a post with some sort of point and then others can dialogue- with you. Blessings and keep that compassion flag waving we need more of it to reach the hurting out there (who by the way are not what we are discussing on this post). |
