Hey Guys.... What do you all think about Sarah Palin supporters trying to cause problems for Oprah who won't have Palin on her show until after the election? Supposedly her supporters are trying to boycott Oprah to force her to put Sarah Palin on her show... Thoughts? ? Kitty

Black people just don't know how to stick together....this has been our downfall throughout history. If there was ever a time for Black America to come together, it is now. Other races know how to put all of their differences aside, come together and support their own when issues and situations will directly affect them.
I am not an advocate for Oprah's spiritual views either, but at least she has the good sense to stand firm in supporting a qualified Black man who might become the first Black president in US history.

Am I understanding this to mean that we are to vote for Obama simply because he is black and forget everything else?

I think that is a good question?
Why isn't Sarah Palin's supporters looking to have her on Dr. Phil? Or even the Ellen show?
Speaking of that... Could she even handle the type of questions that Dr. Phil or Oprah ...
Why isn't she going for the view or a Barbara Walters special?
I think Ultimately she can't handle the questions that they would ask....
Ultimately i don't even think Sarah Palin wants to go on Oprah... I think it is a way for some to pick on Oprah... and the reason she would even be a target is the sheer volume of number of viewers that she has...
She has a right not for people to try to use her... I think they would have a problem with the questions she would ask Palin...

well I wouldn't watch even if she was on Oprah.
And it actually makes sense for her NOT to be on Oprah. From the very beginning Oprah has backed Obamah. She endorsed him and held a fund raiser for him.
What sense would it make for her to have part of the opposition on the show?

To answer your question And Such...
Yes... we should vote for Obama because he is black... Just as it is that we should vote for all republicans because they all claim to be against abortion...

I disagree with you.... I am not voting for Obama because he black.... I am voting for him because he is the best person for the job... 8 (years) is more than enough.... I have voted 4 years ago, based on two issues.... Now I know there more to consider... I will vote for Obama if he was white! No for McSame/Plain ;D
