I don't vote republic because of abortion.... That would be like me saying if you want a "free ride" and be able to not have to work and yet still get money, you'll vote democratic. (and yes that is some ppl's reasoning). I do agree with a lot of what the Rep party stands for.
And even in calling someone an "idiot" isn't something I think we should call anyone. ( interesting that one of the definitions is "foolish person").
I think that what ppl want is something that would be fair to all -- which is why it's hard to "rate" success.
An off the topic/on the topic --- Side note: That one reason why I'm an advocate of "percentage taxes" ie no matter how much you make, you pay a specific percentage of that for taxes...Maybe somewhere between 7-10%. That would be fair. This way neither side would be able to feel as though the other is paying "more" or "less"

hey Nikkol... I hope you didn't think my post was about you personally... I just mentioned abortion because it is the number supposed "Christian reason" that Christian vote republican.... I'm not sure if the republican party has any other issues other thans the gays that could be considered positive Christian issues... They certainly aren't for feeding the poor or educating children! LOL

I don't vote republic because of abortion.... That would be like me saying if you want a "free ride" and be able to not have to work and yet still get money, you'll vote democratic. (and yes that is some ppl's reasoning). I do agree with a lot of what the Rep party stands for. I don't think she was talking about you personally.... I myself have voted Republican based on abortion and gay agenda, although I was concern about other issues... Most ppl want to work... for the first time many white ppl are feeling what many black have felt in the many years, hopelessness in finding a decent job that they can live off of... Blacks are the first to be fired and last to be hired and work the hardest. I have witness this. I have seen young white kids get hired right out of high school over an older experienced black... or give the black a lower position... The first thing they will do is exalt the black person weakness and tell them they don't have enough experience or education... But with a white or hispanic... we will train you and teach you everything you need to know... You may say; "I was not talking about black ppl..." You was, your reflect the same race stereotype as those racist white ppl about black.... Most black work 10X harder to get where they are at. They are much more educated and have to be outstanding in every position. They have to constantly watch their back to hold on to their position and trust nobody, just to keep their job. Most black go for government jobs, because it is harder for them to get fired and easier for promotion. I agree... I never called him that... but after I saw some of the mess he left for the President to clean up.. I wanted to call him many names, but didn't. He had two years of recession and did nothing or very little about it. He knew he was leaving and had no exit plan for two wars before Pres. Obama took office. He set on his hands and did nothing... I never dislike Bush... I believe he is a good person, just an horrible president. Pres. Obama wrote about him in his book, "The Audacity of Hope". Pres. Obama Like Bush as a person, but disagree with his policies. I've prayed for Bush just as much as I am praying for Obama. I will never prayed against him or wish any harm. We should want what is best for American people.. Healthcare for all, better education for our children, Child care for all working parents, Jobs... Jobs... Jobs..., Tax cut for the middle class and poor.. No more war!!! equal jobs equal pay... better benefits... better housing, safer communities, more small businesses etc. Right now the very rich is paying about 1% I think it should be based on your income... the poor (under proverty level) who are working should not have to pay taxes... When they increase the tax for those who are making 250,000 and up/per, it will actually pay off the stimulus and HCR within a few years... There are about 90 millions ppl (this do not includes disabled, children and non-working elderly)... Top 5% is approx. 4.5 million... if you muliply the median income of the top 5% by 32% (after tax increase).. it is in the trillion/year...

IMO, I believe it is wrong what people are doing as it relates to the OP. It is no secret that I didn't vote for Obama but I don't wish any harm or evil to come his way. Nor do I sit and waste my time praying (or even discussing up to this point) that he only has one term in office. My job is to pray for him and that is what I do.
I also don't see everything as racist but a lot of it is just that. In this case, I don't believe it is necessarily motivated by racism - people just wanted him out and his decrease in ratings prove such. But even so, I believe that we should take time to humble ourselves and pray and seek the face of God. I believe we will receive a better response praying in that fashion than we would any other way.
