Seriously though, for those of you interested... my Pastor (Dad) will be preaching on Sunday, March 26th at 4:00... Refuge Church of Christ 52nd & Race Streets... I will be there... I'll have on my ninja... I mean my black outfit...

I would love to see my Philly grafted in brothers and sisters.... not to show favoritism.. especially BECK....

Imho, the Christian experience of God is by divine intention and design radically different than the Jewish. I agree with my rabbi friend that Christianity is (and I would add, should be) much more than "Judaism with Jesus". Again Nikki...no one is taking away from Jesus and who He is and what He is for this dispensation... if we are not to study or know what's going on.. we should only have NT bibles... I think, the reality is this, the OT ark is the NT Jesus... all the types and symbols in the ark and how it was made points us not only to the cross but to Jesus... if you do a study, you will see Him and it only points to Jesus.. it doesn't lower Him at all.. if it didn't matter, WHY did he make the specifications for how it was done? This goes beyond JB or what she is doing.. that is not even the issue with me... the real issue is knowing the history of our brothers and sisters... we have been adopted and our brothers and sisters are Jews... they worshipped at the tabernacle... I'm just not seeing why this would be a bad thing or why studying who Jesus was in the OT is a bad thing?

I have to admit that Im a bit jaded by modern day church... Some stuff is just too deep for me, I would rather just hear Jesus and the liberty that he brings over some floor with a ark with horses pulling it... In my opinion the church hasnt learned the foundational things about how to love one another and live a godly lifestyle, but we are being Pacified with things we really doesnt add to our faith in Christ...
