Thank you KB
The concept of an eternal hell where people are punished forever is difficult for some to accept. In fact this thought is what caused Carlton Pearson to go off into error. The reality is that hell is a place of ETERNAL punishment and torment. This is what JESUS said and taught. We might want to try and disagree with modern day preachers etc etc but JESUS is a whole other issue entirely.

The wages of sin most certainly is death; death is separation. That's what hell ultimately is: eternal separation from the presence of God. KB, the above statement is exactly my point. HELL is total separation from God (without redemption) and Heaven is in the presence (literally) of God.
Do any of you all think Satan could enter into Heaven if he repented?

He can't repent....it's too late, and to be honest I have never heard of an "angelic being" repenting I have just heard of them receiving judgement I.e. the ones that are bound awaiting the judgement. It seems as if they don't have second chances maybe because they are angelic and are/were a part of the heavenly hosts. I mean if you abided in heaven with God and then disobeyed him what more can you do? The angels don't struggle with a sin nature, so whatever rebellion they commit they are set for judgement. There's no redemption for them since they didnt have to be redeemed from anything. I guess that's why the question came up "Who is man that thou art mindful of him"?

If you don't believe there is a heaven or hell try living in AZ....and I am not being funny. Last year I was coming up my stairs..when I said " God, it's hot out here..and quickly I heard the words " Imagine what hell will be like". I know of a man who has burn marks on his knees; from his experience where he was challenged to accept heaven or hell...and yes, please read the book a Devine Revelation of Hell ..it will make you think. I can appreciate anyone wanting to know the true meaning of the words of the Bible..yet, I have to step away when I start seeing something that does not recognize what the word of God has spoken to us..

I started this thread to discuss the "locations" of our eternal homes and whether they are located "geographically" where we think they are.
Especially in reference to Heaven, because most people on the BB are saved and we work toward making Heaven our eternal home.
Many people have been taught and are being taught that as soon as we die we automatically enter into heaven and when discussing this topic with some saints and showing scriptural reference many believe (no matter what is shown) that as soon as you die we enter into our Eternal home.
No reference regarding the rapture or the dead in Christ rising or how our souls reconnect to a resurrected body.
I maybe rambling but I wanted to clear up the tone of this thread and hopefully move on to a more effective dialog.
God Bless!

I don't consider heaven and hell to have geographic locations since they aren't physical places.
I believe that upon death, the spirit/soul of the deceased believer immediately enters into the presence of the Lord. Some call this heaven, some say paradise. However, heaven is not our hope; our hope is the resurrection of the body, so that we may dwell with the Lord forever, upon a renovated, reclaimed, and restored earth.

alright!!! alright!!! somebody in here preechin...lol
lol.....Some say "the planet heaven" I have heard that term used
I believe that we will have glorified bodies similar to what we have now....."form, shape, etc. but it will not be corruptible. So what would be our purpose in the "new earth" along with those who have human bodies? (you know there will be some because it talks about the tree bringing healing to the nations, so I guess when one feels tired then they can eat of the leaves/fruit of the tree)...what do yall think?
I'll bring scriptures to clarify what im saying.

Did I mention that I live in Las Vegas, I definitely understand. All we can do is endure.,lol Thank God for AC. Bill might be $200 hundred dollars but that worth it with this type of weather. I remember the year vegas got to 123 degrees...I don't think i want to experience anything hotter than that, unless it a hot beverage like cocoa

The doctrine of hell is one of the most neglected doctrines in all of Scripture. When hell is mentioned today, it is generally ridiculed, as if the whole idea of hell were so old-fashioned that only the naive and ignorant would really believe that such a place actually exists. Whu is there a Hell? Hell is a place where God will deal righteously with the devil (John 8:44). Hell was created for the Devil and his angels. When man fell, he also became subject to eternal judgment; thus, the wicked went also to hell.
What will hell be like? A sinners endless torments in hell is described a place filled with unimaginable fear repeatedly Jesus spoke of outer darkness, where there will be wailing, weeping, and gnashing of teeth. This gnashing of teeth demon possessed Mark 9:18 says whenever this evil spirit seizes him, it throws him violently to the ground and makes him foam at the mouth and grind his teeth and become rigid. It is a place filled with unquenchable fire. Jesus associates hell with "fire" as hell fire. In Mark 9:46 and 48 hell is described as a place where the fire is not quenched. Jesus describes hell as a furnace: cast them into the furnace of fire: The book of Revelation describes hell as "a lake of fire burning with brimstone" so do we think that hell is described as God's "cosmic garbage dump" All that is unfit for heaven will be thrown into hell. So is hell consists of fear, fire and filth.
It is said that for the Christian, earth is the only hell that he/she will know. For the Non-Chritian, earth is the only heaven that he/she will know. Sadly, many people do not believe in the reality of hell. Many conclude that God's love will allow many, if not all, to be saved. The place of Hell is a lake of fire, the fire is not quenched, you will never get use to the pain, it is a place of torment, a place of consciousness, a degree of punishment, it is a place without the slightest hope of release, it is a place of darkness, it is a place where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, it is a place where the worm does not die, a place where your are separated from God's presence.
Hell is just as real as is Heaven. Nevertheless, because of God's grace, we get to decide upon where we want to choose eternity. One who hesitates has already decide.

I was actually introduced to an article regarding Hell not being what we think it is. I haven't read through through the entire article yet. I have always believed there was a hell. Didn't someone post the different meanings of the words somewhere on this thread? I have to find it and begin my own research.
