This is a comment for TW's conference
15. Michelle | October 2, 2007 I partially viewed the video and could hardly believe what I was hearing, and to top it off the conferecne was called “Teach Me How To Love”. I supposed diffrent people have different views of love, however railing off a string of exploitive during love making or should I say the sexual actwould not make me feel very loved. This comment is to Mike as I watched I also noticed when the camera Panned on Prophetess Bynum, I just did not get the feeling that she was in agreement with what he was saying Ifelt that she wanted to crawl under her seat out of embaressment. It appears to me that Prophetess Bynum that was trying really hard to look supportive of her husband.I will keep the Weeks in prayer

I said as much in the other thread. She wasn't in agreement with what he was saying at all. Furthermore, a good friend of mine told me that he didn't believe what Bishop Weeks was saying at first, because he heard Juanita say out of her own mouth that they speak in tongues during sex. Of course, it is quite possible for both blessing and cussing of come out of the same mouth, but in this instance, I don't know if that's the case.

Well then we need to describe whats dirty and unclean for married folks, because again... the marriage bed is undefiled. We are not talking about brings folks in.-thats adultery We aint even talking about "toys" ..some folks do that but I don't see the need. Now, A freak to me would be someone with a High sex drive? He don't have to want to flip, rub it up, and smack it (but... laughs) Are you referring to oral sex? Again, I'm trying to see which angle you are heading to so I can at least try to meet you half way Is the bed automatically undefiled or the couple suppose to keep it undefiled. anything goes or do we do what God designed our body to do as far as have sex and making love. Should a man do to his wife what he did in the world when he picked a woman off the street and let his imagination go wild? pornography, dirty talk, sex toys, oral sex, filming sex acts etc.... I hread the couple used to be a member of my church, the man high sex drive put his newly wed wife in the hospital and she was far from being a virgin when they got married. Ok now, here is where we differ. Most women don't do the dirty talk, sex toys and filming sex etc..etc while unsaved, so WHY in God's name would one do it then. I believe in all things we should set standards. And now being that we are saints, the standards should increase. The bottom line with the marriage bed is.. Its undefiled. If you do things that are contrary to the Word of God, then you have defiled it. If the bible is silent in an area, then we should be silent in that area as well.

See, I really think the brother is just one who enjoys "naughty"/"dirty" bedroom talk, especially during sex. I also think,...no, I KNOW that there are MANY people who share that particular "preference". And, quiet as it's kept, I betcha more than a few of 'em are Christians too. Imho, the Bishop was just trying to find himself, and give others, some bible permission to go on and go for it, lol! I actually found it hard to tell whether Juanita was unconvinced of his teaching, just embarassed that he was telling their business, or both. (Though I did notice that her sidekick Tonya was looking at her... and Thomas REAL crazy, and having a whole lot to say... Too Funny, lol!) I do believe TW has/had convinced himself of his "scripture revelation" and so went on to teach it. Problem was, his "word" was wrong as two left feet...and in so many ways. So..... Question: Does a married couple "talking dirty" in the bedroom defile their marriage bed? Inquiring minds want to know.

Well, I guess we could talk about the nature of "dirty talk" in general. What makes it dirty or offensive or defiling? If my wife and I agree to those terms in the bedroom, does that make it defiling? I think the context of Matthew 15:11 may provide a bit of insight here. I'm just exploring all aspects here; y'all should know how I roll by now.

Well, I guess we could talk about the nature of "dirty talk" in general. What makes it dirty or offensive or defiling? If my wife and I agree to those terms in the bedroom, does that make it defiling? Good questions! Because the bible certainly does have a lot to say about what comes out of our mouths. And I don't know that, or how, which room of the house or what situation we're in necessarily impacts any of it. No doubt. But I don't think the context of that scripture changes any of the the fact and truth of the words Jesus spoke regarding what is (and isn't) defiling to us, and how that works. Yep we both know, and appreciate, how you roll. I know I do and in fact, I'm counting on it in this thread. So, what are you thinking about Mt 15:11?

I am tired of every time a discussion like this comes up in a lot of christian circles it is always the negative that we look at.
Now if we are truly saved then we will not do anything to offend the Holy Spirit because He lives in us and there is an anointing that teaches us how to live.
an exclamation or words of endearment does not have to constitute cussing-which has no part in a believer's life anyway.
For me personally TMHTLY is not my place of teaching-cause it was based on the life of 2 people who have their personal likes which are certainly not mine.
This is the problem in the church as sister lanl has been saying-what shd constitute testimonies have now become teachings and the word of God put somewhere cause people want the hype.
I also dont understand why every single detail and mistake of their lives they have to air and that is what is biting them now.
If every preacher shared every argument and every sin they committed all the time where will we be.
I personally would like this topic to veer off Thomas and his bride and move ont to discussing this in a wholesome way since i dont believe that whatever it is they were doing has helped their marriage.
