Paula and Randy divorce is sad and very unfortunate; however they have done what leaders are suppose to do...... Make a public announcement ask for prayers admit their role and responsibility in the break of the marriage....... and move on........unlike other folks we know

I think that this divorce (although this is their 2nd divorce) just goes to show us the importance of working in ministry together. There is no "my ministry" in marriage; rather, it's "our ministry".

Don't be laughing, elderbeck...YOU started this "revival", lol! And (fruitful, full of wisdom) posts like yours and these 2 are exactly WHY I'm still calling "Paula and Randy" out: Paula and Randy divorce is sad and very unfortunate; however they have done what leaders are suppose to do......

Ahh Sister Keita.. I was really feeling for them. I know they had to feel left out so I was just showing them some Christian message board love..LOL. As for the post that you quoted.. I honestly feel that they are still in need of much prayer. While their divorce might not have the media coverage because of the situation that lead to the divorce of JB and T.W. Paula and Randy still has their issues. After Announcing the divorce I have issues with anyone showing up the next day on live tv asking for money because "god" doing X, Y, and Z. Sister keita I just don't get why these people have now made ministry into a multi million dollar business and they don't even see the error of their ways.. Ministry DOESN'T divide.. Ministry should unite. You can look at the dangers a divided union can cause when we examine Abraham and Sarah.. Abraham believed and it was counted unto him as righteousness while Sarah laughed within herself.. Later giving her husband her servant.. which birthed Ismael! Abraham SHOULD have obeyed the promise of God concerning his seed with Sarah, and Sarah should have believed God and not even thought about their conditions.. Division within marriages can bring about years of pain. Sometimes even after we repent it still doesn't do away with the results of our disobedience.. cause Ismael is still alive and kicking..(just ask Israel).
Marriages need to first obey God and follow his commandments according to Scripture and not try to force things based upon condition. Financial problems and the desire to be prosperous can lead us down a road that many marriages can not handle..JB said it perfectly when she said that the divorce rate was higher in the church than it is in the world.. Why? Money and division..It can lead us down paths that isn't made for us.. Just read psalms 73...How many marriages have just about slipped and feel well nigh gone because of money and division..

How about the fact that they have no legitimate grounds for divorce (whichever view you might take on that)? Did one of them abandon the other? Did someone commit adultery? Did someone abuse someone?

Yeah, I wasn't expecting to hear that. One of these days, I'm going to have to tip on over to the Temple in Memphis to see how they're doing. Lawd, I miss the Bishop.
