I started this topic because I wanted to see what everyone thought about "birth control". I know we had this topic once before, but I don't know if it was before or after "the deletion". I have been doing some serious research regarding birth control, planned parent hood, abortion as well as many other areas that may or may not fall under "sexual immorality".
What say ye?

I was going to place this in the "Women's" Section but I honestly wanted everyone's opinions/thoughts/views on this (especially the men).

I don't believe using Birth control is "sexual immorality". There are SAVED folks who use birth control.

I am sorry for being so confusing. I wasn't saying that birth control is sexual immorality but asking whether or not we (Christians) should partake.
And not to be funny but there are also "SAVED" folk who fall into sexual immorality.

Is Birth Control something that Christians should support? Christian marriages are designed to be fruitful and multiply, so why would a Christian couple who trust and abide by the Word of God subscribe to Birth Control methods?
The Bible says that we are to be fruitful and multiply......and who are we to determine when it is time to procreate or not.............It is God that gives life. Borrowing from Nikkol : the views posted on this thread may or may not support my beliefs:

What about the women who for some reason arent allowed to have a baby or they will die, because there body just cant support a baby for 9 months... so she has to get her tubes tied or take birth control?

Birth control is an issue that should be between the married couple and GOD.

So, is planned parenthood of God? (I am just asking questions to see how other people think - in no way am I trying to get in other people's bedrooms).

So, is planned parenthood of God? No, we as humans do not have the right to select the creation of life.............

They have a completely different thought process and one that I don't think, as Christians, we should subsribe too. Planned Parenthood should not be consulted with for your Christian view on birth control. Again, it is a private matter between a couple and GOD.

Are can we also assume that be fruitful and multiply means be fruitful by witnessings and watching more individuals be added to the kingdom of God. ASWSOY, you are correct, some saved folks do fall into sexual immorality.

In context to scripture the implied meaning was definitely procreation.....now we can take the scripture and apply to whatever subject one chooses.Genesis 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

What about the women who for some reason arent allowed to have a baby or they will die, because there body just cant support a baby for 9 months... so she has to get her tubes tied or take birth control? I believe that God gives us wisdom in all things. If a woman's body can't hold a baby for the full term, then would it be wise for her to "die" trying? Is that really God? Now, If God specifically told her that he would bring forth a child from her womb, then thats a promise worth holding on to. I know that the very God we serve would make good on his promise, as he is not a liar. I would stand on his promises despite what any man has said. After my second child died, God promised me 2 children and He made good on his promise. My experience is this: I have had 4 c-sections. I have 3 living children. My last pregnancy was painful. The pain is really undescribable. My lil "hamela" (anaya is her name) weighed 8 pds 4 oz. Every night I felt as if, I was just going to burst open. During those times, I talked with my husband about having more children and we came to the conclusion we didn't want any more. Quite frankly, I didn't want any more. I would pray Lord, my body can't go through this again. I remember crying in the grocery store one day. It was hurting to walk. My bones was popping, that nerve that sits under the pelvic bone, was just ridiculous. I can say that bringing forth children is a beautiful thing, but it's something so risky that it can cause a woman to lose her life. (experience) All i knew is that when I laid on the table this time to deliver my child, I look at my doctor and state while I was yet "open" do not close me up without having "fixed" me. He laughed, told me, He was already prepared. I said thank you Jesus and laid my head back on the table. And till this day.. my soul says " Oh what Joy, Oh what Peace, Oh what happiness" about the decision that was made. Wisdom. Only the Lord can give it.
